Can see 2-3 feeds happening though I think my pots are too small to grow plants big enough to need 4-6. But the NF coco and nutes are made for hydro so I guess it's meant for regular flow passing through.
----------------
Flooded with 1.6 EC and 6.0 PH.
Odd that it went up 0.2PH from yesterdays 1.5 EC as apposed to the 5.8.
I don't think Cobra's #2 and #3 liked yesterdays feed but rest seem okay with it so ill try push through it, if not. I'll flush later today.:smokebuds:
Stunted's opinion on the Coco flooding frequency debate: I will put what I do/use and why

(This is based on my use of NF Coco and NF Coco A&B)
(How much to flood with is another subject....personally I use the following rule and so far it has served me well.)
"Flood amount = Pot size" (E.g. 1Ltr pot gets 1Ltr nutrient flood, 800ml pot gets 800ml nutrient flood...K)
That should get you a good amount of runoff.
Before planting:
I run some NF A&B through the NF Coco at around 200ppm and PH6.0
Coco has no nutrients in it at all and I find by adding a little nutes to the pots early it helps keep the sprouts nice and healthy with very fast growth.
Day 1...Planting (200ppm @ PH6.0 used)
After the sprouts are in the Coco I water (with nutes) very gently until a tiny bit of runoff starts, this settles the Coco and sprout in place nicely.
Day 2-4 (maybe more...maybe less...depends on how fast the little sprout grows really)
Nothing, they already have what they need.
I tend to leave them alone for a couple of days after planting so they can settle in.
I need to get sand/DE/Stones on the top of the Coco as soon as possible to stop the Fungus Gnats but dont like doing it until the sprouts are a couple of inches high.
Day 4+ to the end.
The day after the Sand/DE/Stones goes on I start flooding once a day, it continues like that until the end of the grow!
Sometimes around day 14-20ish the plants can start to look overwatered (whole plant looks kinda droopy and growth can slow), if that happens I will stop the daily flood and flood once every two days until the plant is big enough to handle the daily floods.
So that is one way to do it and saves on nutrients....and works well (for me)
If you want to really save on nutes then flood less often, if you use large pots then you could do this easily as they wont dry out as fast as small ones.
I have also toyed around with two floods per day from start until day 20ish, growth is enhanced a bit with two floods a day but only up to a point...at the moment I feel it is not worth the added work or nutrients and will stick with one flood per day.
As for doing 4-6 floods per day running flood to waste....WTF..you may as well pour your bottles of nutes down the drain hole as that is where most will be going anyway. Not a very cost effective way to grow if ya ask me!
And the slight PH variation you see (.2) is likely caused by your tap water, your area has one of the worst pH Compliance rates with ADWG (Australian Drinking Water Guidelines)......
But then again the guideline states "Based on the need to reduce corrosion and encrustation in pipes and fittings, the pH of drinking water should be between 6.5 and 8.5."
8.5 out of the tap would be nasty for plants...
Hopefully you will find all that helpful in some way, took fkn ages to type all that shit...and I aint stoned (until later).
P.S. You will be surprised how big a plant can get in a small pot without even trying
Fingers still crossed my friend,
