Mine are more pots and pathway "Pebbles" orientated I believe. States on front for Cactii Gardens, Bonzai & Pots. But They would have simillar in fishtank shops. Stunted uses slightly larger stones on his that were used for fishtanks.

Today while bringing plants back under lights from flooding I noticed some roots edging out the drainage holes at the bottom on larger 2 plants.
What is best solution or plan of attack with this?
Try tuck them back in so they go back up or begin to spiral?
Or just clean cut off?
I have cut tap roots before when they were poking out of seedling trays and browning and they survived..
Any assistance is greatly appreciated as I think I will be waking up to a worsened situation.

Typically, when roots are growing out of the bottom (for me, in soil) I'll place a smaller bucket around the bottom of the pot filled with soil.. in Hempy, I never have the issue because the roots only have one little hole to come out of and often swirl instead of doing that.

Your plants are still vegging, but cutting the roots will surely cause some form of stress to the plant.. whether or not it will stunt them no one can tell you for sure.

I just let them get hacked off by the bottom of my pots when I move them around...so dont worry too much about them..they have plenty more in the pot.

I would love to add some more coco underneath for the roots to just grow into but I am very limited with space, thats why my pot's are soo small and using smallest LED.
Definetly don't want to be stunting them so will attempt to keep them in the pot and white aslong as possible.

As harsh as that sounds I think that's how it is going to go down later in the plants lives.
Can only hope for a rootball like Miss ol' Knot-Knot hiding inside the pot by the end of things.
I will try not to worry too much but I am sober as, oh wait.. I have yummy sleeping pills in my pocket

Might switch to 135W LED for a while they seemed to handle it alright for a few hours other day, also kept a top side open so it could blow hot air straight out.

This thing is hording most of the light with its massive fan leaves, would love to give it a space to itself. 7-7.5inch tall, lots of space left to grow upwards.:cough:
