I'm running into a slight problem with the lst, it's promoting a lot of new growth, however there are a few spots on each plant where 1-2 large fan leaves are crowding out/blocking new growth. Is it better to just leave these be, or is it ok/recommended to remove one here and there to make room for node growth?/

If you can try to "tuck" the leaves away instead of trimming.

You can try tucking them, or tie them out of the way. Don't cut them... they aid with photosynthesis.
Cutting should be last resort

Here are two of them at day 25. They've roughly doubled in size in about a week.

Very nice. Looks like they are off to a fine start.

Fed around 75% strength nutes this morning, waiting to see how they take it. Here is a group photo and a little flowering action

They all look happy.
I see you get some turned up leaf edges from the Blackstar too. How high are you keeping yours off the canopy?
Mine is at 16" now, and I can't go any higher.

I set mine at around 22" when I did my LST, and am just letting them grow into it now. I'd estimate its at around 18" now.

I did just measure and they're about 18-19" from the light now, and have probably grown an inch or two since the group shot yesterday :D

That's what you want to see now, the explosive veg growth. Keep them on veg nutes till that slows and stops.
