i leave molasses out in flush cycle... that should have been done in flowering... it leaves a lot of black shit in your ash which is basically magnesium that didnt get used up by the plant...

i like white ash in my bowl and no "off coughy taste" in my smoke

I am glad the time is near, some of the upper fan and bud leaf is starting to yellow. I can see the trichomes and would like to save as much as I can for cooking. I can tell even with my 6x that they are less clear but look wet. My budget will allow the new led but little else. I think a local pawn shop has the loupe, just need to make sure it's 30x.

And cool JM I wasn't aware of that. To each his own. I like the white ash too. I want to do a side by side comparison when the time comes, or maybe just forget about the molasses for the flush altogether

by all means do a side by side... that was a tip i picked up from bailer... and it seems right on... but ive never had time to isolate and compare.... love a live experiment! :thumbs: :clap:

I kinda overfed for a while and didn't stop until I burnt one and pulled it early. I have only watered for about 16 days with bottled water (7ph). I think most of excess is gone and the plant is sucking the leaves of food. I don't want to chop if the buds will get fatter, but what is left to feed them?

If your going to be harvesting in the next day or two, as I understood, then don't give them anything more but plain pH'd water. If you want to go longer you can still give them some Bloom nutes and then plain water the last few days. Depends on what you have planned. Again, well, done!

I think I have flushed all the excess nutes from the soil and hopefully the plant has used them and the taste will be as good as I can get this time. I just smoked a bud that had a chance to cure for two weeks. I can feel the differance. If I keep following the advice I get from you guys I will be too stoned to remember to start my next grow. ha ha The idea about turning off the lights sounds good but do I leave both fans on?

I am going to use the tent to dry for the next 6-7 days, mid 70's/50-55%. I left more leaf this time and will trim before curing. The trim will help me leave them alone to cure. I will try and come up with scales but I really need the additional led light so I can start my next grow. I guess 3oz., maybe.
