Indoor First grow NYLD& Pineapple Express

Just my opinion, but it looks a lot like mine were looking last week brother. I was told I needed to be using more nutes (was only using half recommended) So what I did was used full dose nutes and doubled the water I was feeding them. It took till today to see everything work for them. I still have the bottom leaf shit (no bringing them back) but the girls seem MUCH happier today. I will cut down on the nutes if I see any sign of yellow on the tips of the leafs, but until then I am going to keep up with what was recommended. I am using 11 liter pots and was only feeding 200ml every 3 days. Now I am feeding every other day 400ml per plant with recommended dose of nutes. I am sorry if this is not a lot of help for you right now, but the pros will show up soon. Weekends are slow around here..lol. IMO I think your girls will make it just fine :D

heydwolf thanks for stopping by and giving the support beend down on these for a cpl days :) well so far i gave the nyld female about 10oz of 1/4th str nutes on thursday. before that i was watering about that with just reg water phd to 6.5 every two days. its now sunday and the nyld soil is still really wet. form the thursday feed seems kinda weird to me also gave the pe a dose of nutes on friday when i first noticed the problems on it. it looks like it will be rdy for a watering tonight or early tom morn. i have been going off the wieght of the pots as far as when to water. the nyld male got 1/4 str nutes late friday night like after mid and its already bone dry. pe #1 had a watering also friday night and its pretty dry will prob water late tonight or tom morn but now i dont know if i should give the pe#1 just water or give it another feed of the 1/4th str nutes. and as far as what nutes i have i been using maxibloom it says reg feeding is 1teaspoon per gallon measured out a teaspoon lvl and its 7g so i took 1.7g to make it 1/4str.

When I grow photos it is easy to tell if I am giving to much nute (yellow tips). I have noticed from grow journals here that these autos can be super sensitive to nutes and others are OK with them. Seems like the assassins I am growing are somewhat sensitive but the Mi5 are hungry girls. What made me worry is the time it took to make them all happy again. I had 5 that were fine with the way I was feeding and 4 that were in bad shape. I am such a novice with these autos and they are tricky because everything happens so damn fast. So keep the faith and I am sure these girls will come around for ya. We both have to expect some fuck ups along the way with trying something new. This is how we will learn and improve our growing techniques. I have found in this 1st auto grow that it has a whole set of new rules and you have to pay much more attention to what your plant are doing compared to photos. I am very THANKFUL I ran into this site. It has saved my girls from certain death 2 times and I am only half way into my grow..lol

yah i hear ya there dwolf man where are all these pros at today maybe i should post this in the infirm section and see if anyone replies

The weekend is a SLOW time here. I have had just a simple question today that cannot get answered..lol. So I feel your frustration. I guess I got spoiled from having my questions answered SO DAMN FAST here

You said you are at 1/4 strength nutes?

It looks like it could be phos def, you are also headed into some calmag def. I've never grown the NYLD, so i am only speculating.. But they look hungry for some flower nutes.. If you get some blackstrap molasses, it has cal and mag in it.
Too bad cheesy it's around to offer advice.

You also said the soil has sat wet for a while?

hey bailer thanks for stopping by and yes i mixed up the nutes at 1/4th str for the first feeding. i watered the nyld on thursday and as of right now the top of the soil and down is still real wet like its not drinking anything. not sure what i should do at this point should water it with more nutes even though the soil still saturated? also the Pe is still going through the water its not as bad as the nyld yet so should i mix up like a full dose of nuts and give it to the pe for next watering?

If the soil is saturated I wouldn't water again yet - it's weird for it to still be SATURATED almost 4 days later though. How's the air circulation in the room/closet? Temps? Plants and roots both need air to breathe.. so if the soil retains that much water, is it compact as well? If a pot isn't ready for water, don't just give it water - that's the problem with scheduled watering over knowing the weight of the pot.

Also, make sure to let the water sit and evaporate all the chlorine. While photos may not be as sensitive to straight tap water, autos really are in my experience. Chlorine is bad for plants, in tons of ways.

hey goodie yah thats what i thought. and when i say saturated yest i mean Saturated. the temps lowest has been 75f and highest at 86 usually when i look in there its sittin at 82. air circulation looks good the plants are always moving i have a 6in fan in there blowing air around and a 4in inline fan for exhaust. its not really compact at all. and yes i was only watering by feel of pot read that was the best way to do it. ok well i guest as far as the nyld goes there nothing i can do then until or if the soil dries out?
