New Grower First Grow Plan for White and Red dwarf and either Deimos or Syrup

Day 14.5
74F 50%RH

Gave it a foliar spray during the dark period. The humidity is a little on the dry side. "Elwood," has got its first two set of 5 fan leaves. On a seperate note I got new bindings for my new stick (snowboard) pretty happy. Im going up to Chicago for christmas. So i can go boarding. (south georgia lacks um.... snow....)

Day 15
81F (now) 50%RH
This morning somehow the heater turned off or something so it was like 50F for like the whole night. Elwood was pissed and was pouting. I fixed it this morning and checked back an hour ago and everything was ok. No more droop, still growing quickly. Re-wet the towels.

Anyone help? I have to leave for 7 days. What should i do? 1. Make a self-watering container or 2.just leave some water in the drainage pan or ??????????? im leaving on the 20 and wont' be back until 27. Thanks

Bro that's a tough one I think you should make a dripper or something that's a long time between drinks

i figured it out it's those aqua globes. They work perfect for this scenario. Aqua Globes claim two weeks, but because this kind of plant specie (which requires a lot of maintenance due to its highly evolved genetics). I imagine you only would get a week and change at best after a watering. If anyone has any input please reply.

Day 16
74F (seemed hotter) 50%RH

Plant has wilted slightly, I assume it was due to it being the forth day without a watering (I am not worried still looks (sorry for the word) Vibrant). Im pretty sure in the next couple hours between the moisture transfer and photosynthesis; the plant will bounce right back. I think it going through a more dry period will help the root system become strong like bull.

Less that 12 hours ago it was perked up.
Heres a good picture comparison http://www.growweedeasy.com/drooping-over-water-cannabis-vs-under-water-cannabis .

here is a something that I have seen directly.
Under-watering is less of a problem, since it is easily recognized. When the soil becomes too dry, the plant wilts. Plant cells are kept rigid by the pressure of their cell contents, which are mostly water. With the water gone, they collapse. First the bottom leaves droop, and the condition quickly works its way up the plant until the top lops over. If this happens, water immediately. Recovery is so fast, you can follow the movement of water up the stem as it fills and brings turgor to the leaves. A plant may survive a wilted condition of several days, but at the very least some leaves will drop.

Just an edit it take 6+ Plus hours to see how watering effects the plant. (which mine re-bounded nicely)

Sounds pretty good and like you have it under control. Their not being to big should help too as they won't need to drink as much as an older, larger plant would. Don't know about those aqua globes. I know I would be looking at building some overly complex Rube Goldberg style device. I can just imagine it now, hoses, solenoids, tanks, timers, and guaranteed to break 10 minutes after I left. But only after extensive testing for two weeks beforehand!:face:

Panic a long time ago someone on afn told its good to let them get a little thirsty between drinks like you said I think it forces roots to get stronger and search for water just my opinion peace

Really I cant be any more happy. Theres a video on the herbies autofem variety pack. In the video they talk about how they put their best most resilient strains into it. They talk about Magnum, and deimos... and what they say can't be more then true. Normally I feel like have a pretty good handle on horticulture, I mean ive killed like 10 Bonsai tree's; but this one is soo predicatable i feel like a expert. I think this plant could have grown out of piece of a German Shepard turd.
