New Grower First grow starting this week - 1xNirvana Blue Mystic 1xNirvana Short Rider

Roots organics Master pack arrived!

Well the $45.00 roots organic master pack arrived yesterday. I ordered direct from Aurora company. It is a nice pack of stuff...a LOT for the money. By itself will be enough for about 10 plants worth of grows, wish I had ordered it to start with. I basically purchased 3 bottles (buddha grow, buddha bloom and extreme serene) for the same price. I am thinking that not knowing really the full nutritional supplements required, I should have definitely started with this pack and this feed schedule. The person at the HTG store suggested the 3 products I bought initially, probably thought i was growing tomatoes. Anyway, so now I have it all. Not going to sweat it.

The feed schedule has 8 weeks of bloom, 1 week of flush. My plan currently is harvest in 4 maybe 5 weeks, so 3,4 weeks of feed, then 1 of flush. so I am going to feed based on weeks 3,5,7/8 schedule using these new nutes then last week h2o. Already thinking to next grow where I plan to do a single plant in a 3 gallon pot...I will follow exactly as specified in the schedule. There are 15 products in the pack. The master feed calls for still 3 I don't have...so probably will be leaving those out. $45.00 for nutrients is not cheap but I am sure to get a lot of plants out of this one pack.

Another thing I am planning to do with the single plant is keep using my exact same lighting and other equipment and perfect what I have. I really don't require the ultimate yield since I'm a pretty light smoker, so I think until these lights are toast, I will keep with them for a while yet. Maybe work in a bit of LST now that I understand how a plant grows. I'd like to try a SCROG grow as well. Next few grows should be pretty cheap! I'll ask Santa for an LED grow light!!
:Sharing One:

Plants are looking good Spider ... but I worry about them being done in 4 weeks ... how long will you be gone for ? I'm not sure it would help but I'd give it light 24/7 for the duration (then I'd ask in here if that would help or hurt speeding them along) My veggies and flowers all benefit from the many extra nutes I have around here ... I hate wasting money but it seems to be the grower's curse .... keep up the good work.

My trip has been changed, now leaving Aug 14. I will switch the lights, can't hurt, might help. They have been at 20/4 since week 2.

I have done a lot of reading this evening and THINK I have settled on drying in a brown bag for some days, then moving them to a c-vault for curing and storage -- no burping, which will let me store the day before I leave. This puts the chop for the blue mystics at day 88 (Aug 6). Puts the Short rider at day 81. I am watching the thread on Boveda 62 and eyes on fire is doing a cvault test. Several people posting with info there. I can probably get the wife to open the containers once a day while I'm gone if I find that will be required. Looking into drying and curing is as hard as figuring out how to grow!

Adding some pics of Blue mystics day 49. Pics of SR did not turn out.

How long will you be gone ... Cvaults are nice but a 1/2 gal mason jar will do the same job for $2 ...

I'll be gone for about a week Chester. I guess logically any airtight container would perform the same. Lol. The hype is getting to me!

I'm still thinking that they are not gonna be ready before you go ... I'd rather harvest a week late than weeks early ... I'd keep the door open for having your wife do the flush ... assuming an rh of 50-60% hanging the whole plant in a dark closet would take a week or two before it was ready for the next step ...

Looking good spiker.
Hope your time schedule works out for you.
GL.

Thats some really nice goings on ya got there.I bet they smell awesome too."AFN smoke out"
The smell has kicked into overdrive. Backyard where I exhaust to smells like 'Where's the weed Waldo?' Ordered a carbon pad to cover the exhaust fan. The ono jar is not doing the trick.

Do you think the smell is one that others would recognize as weed ? When a healthy plant is blooming I think it's more of a floral scent .... I smell flowering weed about every 3 months but if I didn't know it was weed I don't think I would think of weed when I smelled it. May be a case of too much weed ....
