New Grower First grow starting this week - 1xNirvana Blue Mystic 1xNirvana Short Rider

Got one more question, my humidity with nothing going on is 52%..in the empty cabinet with doors open. Do you think I am going to have humidity issues? If so, any recommendations?

1 blue mystic in the dirt! After 12 hours soak it sank in the cup and had popped a little nub, so it went to the dirt. The other blue mystic and the short rider are still floating. Waiting to see what happens.

That's long enough....get em in the soil. :)

All 3 seeds in the soil now, all popped and had a little nub! So I think good seeds from Nirvana! Fingers crossed, now the wait begins.

Question: Once in the dirt do I put the lights on? or do I wait until they emerge as seedlings?

I would say it depends on your temps and RH (at soil level) I put sarah wrap over the top with a spot left uncovered for air ventilation. Many use vented clear plastic domes.

I kept my light on to generate heat...

My Fº/RH in the cab was 78º/20% ---- under the saran wrap was 85º-88º/86%-89% IIRC, nice and hot, nice and humid. I dropped my LED right on top (8" or so) of the deck
to generate heat (and therefore the humidity) then moved it up to 22"-24" right after she peeked out so as not to fry her.

First seed is coming up! One of the blue mystic, the one that sprouted so fast. It still has it's seed casing on the tip,do I need to remove it or let it alone? Thanks!

--never mind I touched it and it fell off

Here is a picture, it is a weird color and shape what do you think?

Yeah, it's really cool...every time....:)

Don't overwater it or kill it with attention...;)

I think this is going to be like when my first child was born and we freaked out over everything.. Can't wait til plant number 3, if its like the kids, it will just grow by itself with little interference.
