Just started a new grow using autos so pretty keen to keep track on here and see how it goes.

I'm using a simple set up that's worked ok in the past but instead of cranking out the HPS for flowering, I'll use CFL's right through.

I chucked 2 Lemon Haze seeds straight into rockwool cubes 4 days ago and planted them into 100% perlite yesterday. They're sitting under an 80 watt 6400k CFL and I'll start adding more CFLs as they start to kick on.

Not much to see at the moment but hopefully things will get interesting as time goes on.

A week on and looking pretty good. I've added 2 x 24 watt CFLs...1 x 6400k and 1 x 2700k. Also planted 2 Big Bud seeds which are a bit unrelated to this site cause they aren't autos but they are in the same closet space so they'll slip into a few pics.

Anyway...Day 9 for the Lemon Haze

Im assuming is a hempy style? How long you plan on veggin the phono's and what kinda nutes are you gonna be useing. Thanks and good luck.

Looking good dude. No worries on them not being Autos. Still welcome! :D

Cheers for looking in guys...

I haven't really thought about the photos cause every free seed I've got with an order has been male so they can just veg out with the autos until they show. I guess that gives me a month or so to work out something good to do with them if one or both turn out to be girls. The seeds I'm using now are from marijuana-seeds.nl so hopefully they go ok.

The nutes are Grow Research which is a 2 part mix, developed by the bloke who owns the local hydro shop. I asked him about a ph meter and he told me not to bother as long as I follow the dose on the bottle. I will be getting one next week just so I can learn what is normal in case something goes wrong. Maybe I've been lucky cause I've done 2 grows with 2 photos both times and ended up with results I didn't think possible for a complete beginner.

I'm also thinking that growing in 100% perlite is really forgiving cause the plants don't seem to care when I feed them. Not many people seem to grow in perlite and I'm wondering why?

Added a few more watts so took a some pics...
