I am a begining new grower who is in the process of doing my first grow. I purchased "open sesame 5-45-19" and i been searching for reviews but cant find anyone who seems to have used it before and would like to know if anyone has any personal experience with it. Thanks and hope to hear back with some good advise and feel free to recommend what you use and what wo.uld be best for me as a beginner. I plan on growing autos and have happy frog soil along with some perlite

I looked for it.
"This 2-pound new early flowering formula is designed to bring plants into bloom. Open sesame delivers a specific micronutrient pack at just the right moment. Contains 5-percent nitrogen, 45-percent phosphorus and 19-percent potassium."
I would use it later on after the plants have grown a while. Seems like it is used to boost the flowering stage.
Look around the site for some tips on what nutrient to use to promote foliage.

Thanks a lot I was told I should be fine with just my happyfrog soil but I want the best for my plants if I could get it.

Happy frog should get yiu about 3 or 4 weeks og veg personally I'd go to ace hardware and get some dr earths 333 and water that in along with maybe some fish emulsion that'll help with the veg growth and keep things in balance

Okay....

First off, welcome :)

Second...

Open Sesame is part of a 3 part dry/soluble "finishing trio" along with Beastie Bloomz and Cha Ching.

Open Sesame is intended to be used (in Autos) generally at the transition from veg to flower and
it's purpose is to increase the number of bud sites....which isn't, actually, always a good thing.

If you have too many bud sites then the available energy for flowering can be divided amongst
too many recipients and then you run into small buds and too much bushiness (and a tough trim/harvest)

They (the finishing trio) aren't really to be considered "foundational" or "main" nutrients.
You need a veg nutrient that is Nitrogen appropriate for the vegetative stage and you need a bloom
nutrient that is P & K appropriate, and maybe a "base feed"...Big Bloom is a good example of
a base feed....earthworm castings, bat guano..etc. (I know, it's counter-intuitive since the word "Bloom"
is in the name....it's not a bloom nute (at least specifically)

Happy Frog has a precharge of nutrients, but it only really lasts 2 weeks at best in my experience.
FFOF (Ocean Forest) lasts longer BUT is generally considered to "hot" (too MUCH nute precharge)
to start autos in.

While I am using them right now, I don't particularly recommend Fox Farms Synthetic nutrients...
they work, they're just sort of a hassle and they aren't organic. BUT, the examples of what I'm
talking about in that line-up are Grow Big (Veg nute) and Tiger Bloom (Bloom nute)

Also, autoflowering cannabis can't handle the same feeding schedule as photoperiod plants and
the feed schedules are designed for photos...with autos, it's a good idea to start at 1/4 strength
and work up a bit to half or maybe just above that...while looking for nute burn on the tips of
the leaves.

Cheers!

Thanks I really appreciate that information. This is very useful and I am going to my local store to see if they have any of those available.

Trap beat me to it and did it much better. if you go with the FF, I would suggest reading thru a few of Trappers journals. my first couple plants, all I did was mimic what he did. made my first grows easy peezy!

Going with Trap's advice ain't gonna do nothing but get you stuck with some beautifully sticky and dank buds. I wouldn't follow his advice if that's not what you're looking for. LOL!

Ah Shucks..... :)
