I have 7 in total just now but think i will end up with 6 good strong healthy babys, all are a lush dark green colour they certainly don't look unwell but really want so advice before next feed. Also when shold i start to use the nutes? they are on rhizotonic but how do you know when to start feeding nutes?

It's not so much that the soil pH has dropped as that it was probably low to start with. Did the label on the soil bag say if it contained any lime? If not, that is what is needed. Dolomite lime mixed into the soil before planting will help to buffer and stabilize the pH. Since they are already planted the best way to raise it quickly is using hydrated lime. Just be cautious as hydrated lime can cause root damage if too much is used. If you can find some, let me know and I'll direct you on how best to use it.

Regarding the nutrients, that depends on how much "Organic Growth Stimulant" is in that soil mix. If it's only some starter nutrients, then you may need to feed when they are about 2 weeks old. If it's heavy with things like worm castings, guano or manure, then you probably won't need any nutrients for 3-4 weeks.

I will go to shop just now and see if they have any in, i will also go and read up about plant magic soil. Gutted but i'm no pro. Thanksfor all your help folks

muddy the only thing they have is Silicon Plus would this be ok to use to ph up?

No, that won't help. You are probably better off looking in a garden store, nursery or green house supply store. Hydrated lime is calcium hydroxide. In the UK it is also called slaked lime.

lol wish i would of reaf your comment before i went and got it. I will head out tomorrow and get it. Thanks for your help

Hi muddy if you could have a wee peek at my set up and ma wee baby's and tell me if you see anything good or bad please. Cheers for all the info. You got no idea the shit i had to go through just to get these pics added but here they are YE HA :D

Everything looks good, both your setup and the plants. Get your pH in line and you should be good to go.

i was having ph problems recently and got some 'garden lime' in the uk which worked well

your set up and babies look good and with muddy looking out for you things are bound to go well

good luck with the grow

:peace:
