Depends where in the world you are and what's available to you. Pro Mix, Sunshine Mix, Biobizz, Plagron, are all good ones. From what I saw about their soil the added "extra benefit" sounds like humic acid, which is beneficial but can be bought separately. I use it all the time to feed the mychorrizal fungi in the Pro Mix soil less medium I use.

0.5 mate i just wanted to start slow, I just hope the grow ends in smoke and not in the bin. Getting close to the end now don't want to fluff things up now. And cheers villain it sure doesnt feel as if i've done a good job. I've let them down to be fair but can only learn as i go on. Fluffing loving every minute of it though

At day 40+ I had worked up to 4ml per ltr, pm soil is a light mix, not much nutrient, even with a low soil ph they should look a little greener on the top bud leaves

I had guessed you was wacking the nutes in! Not sure this plant magic soil is any good for autos?

Well i wont be using plant magic on next grow will defo get the correct soil and nuted next time,so do you think they is anyway of saving them getting them back to lush green?

Well things are looking alot worse the day :crying: yellow leaves and big brown spots all over the leaves, hope things change soon

From what i've been reading i think the plants are suffering with a bit of everything i need to add npk? also calcium maybe calmag will help. I'll read up a bit more don't want to go killing them off altogether.
It's a shame cos the buds are really starting to look lush i just want to grab a bud and eat it they look that good.

Until the pH is back in line feeding them more won't help. When the pH is that low the plant suffers from what is called lock out. The plants can't absorb the nutrients so feeding more doesn't do any good. Look at this chart and you can see that at 5.7 all the major nutrients, the N, P and K, plus cal and mag, are locked out.

When they need water again, give them plain water pHed to around 7 and capture and check the run off. Let us know what it is.

I'm on my 2nd grow, and I've been using Dr Earth Pot of Gold which is made specifically for growing pot.

During veg, all I have to watch out for is overwatering. That's it.

When it flowers, I add a bloom booster, not usually full strength.
For the 2nd grow I added some perlite because that plant likes good drainage and
moderate levels of nutrients.

Top of the line for Dr Earth is Home Grown potting soil, says on the bag it's
for medical marijuana grows.
