Flowering auto cuttings

Curious...have you ever successfully harvested anything decent from pruned, flowering, autoflower branches...if so, did you just stuff them in a small pot of soil or what? ...for example:

I got a bit over 16g off this 24 Carat clone, but I took the cutting much earlier, on day 22 from sprout. It's still probably nowhere near as useful as cloning photoperiods, but as Son of Hobbes said could be useful for seedmaking.

You could graft them to a donnor plant if they are very early flower or late veg cuttings. I've done it with 2 different strains and it worked, not really worth doing unless it's for experimental purposes.
