Is that good or bad....?....and I will say that after 2 hours there were roots left in the bucket when I took the plant out...not alot...but small pieces of root!
Well...I'm not sure...lol
Here's what I saw...and what I think happened.
When I lowered the roots into the solution and let them sit for a few minutes, I turned off my air pump to let the water settle...and there was a little bit of "fizzing" around the area's of brown slime.
What I think happened is the H2O2 some how "ate" away the decomposing roots (or dislodged them) and the lower portions of those roots is what I was seeing. Again....this is my theory *only*

So.....after some research and talking to someone way smarter than me (thanks @Rebel ) the conclusion is that Blackberry is (was) experiencing calmag toxicity. Meaning.....totally my own fault!
On day 40 (yesterday) Blackberry got a rez change out and new nutes (no calmag this time
). She seems to be getting healthier...but there is no doubt this inhibited growth, but it was a learning experience.
As you can see, the flowers are starting to turn purple a bit~!!!
Onto Green Crack...
She was not affected by the calmag toxicity, although she got off to a very slow start...but is starting to really bush out now
This would be day 36....
I believe that what I was mistaking for root slime, is just staining from the nutes. Thanks every body that helped me get to the bottom of this (albeit self induced) problem!!! (thanks Reb, and @derek420colorado )

The biggest issue with h202 is that once you use it you need to run it none stop in a sterile system. It nukes any beneficial bacteria that was present in the system. While it will work to help with phylium it actually does more harm than good in the long run. So if you use it as a treatment you need to stick with it. It basically wipes out the entire plants immune system giving your damn plant Lupus so to speak. Again if you plan to run it you need to follow through and make sure its present at all times. I also dont think you have enough air. I use one of those pumps per bucket with 4 stones per bucket. You need that thing looking like a fiz tank. Any stagnate water will cause a cyano bacteria bloom just like in a reef tank. The bacteria is present in your water naturally but if you give it the right food aka conditions there will be a bloom of it. Cyano and Phylium consume dissolved 02 and rob your plant of vital o2
Yeah....I still use it, just forgot to put it in the above post. I don't necessarily like using it...now that I've done more research, but it is what it is at this point.

Yeah Benies are a good thing in the Franks Tank. Just remember that. VoodoJuice is one of AN'S best products but its pricey as shit. I am trying HydroGuard now and it has the main ingredient that VJ has at 1/3rd the cost. Water level is also key. Try to ger more even dispersal of air in teh bucket. I make these rings that sit on the perremiter of the bucket. Causing the entire surface area to get even dispersal. Again if there is a dead zone Cyano and Phylium will nest there and bloom out.

I realize that I F** up this grow pretty bad...water levels, and what not. There was a ton of info that I should have gotten before hand....but thats how you learn I guess. I'm going to change a thing or two next go 'round and definitely I'll be adding something for the root zone. As this was basically my first grow (did some soil stuff years ago....but just messing around with bagseed), and certainly the first dwc experience (and auto's) I'm just hoping to make it to harvest at this point. I think I'll probably get there...but who knows.
The point is...there were (and still are going to be) a ton of lessons learned this go 'round....which makes this a successful grow in my book!
That being said....it would have been nice to have a massive bush with a ton of bud on it...lol
...but thats cool with me, there's always the next plant. Similar threads
