So I was taking my wife to work yesterday and the street department had a section of a side street closed so i had to take a detour down an alley. As I was proceeding down this alley way I happen to noticed a lot of buckets stacked up in back of a local bakery. Well after dropping her off at work I went back and went into the bakery to ask about the buckets. One of the bakers said that one of the workers was saving them and that he had been fired and they was fixing to throw them away. Needless to say I took them off there hands for free. Got a total of 30 buckets. They are about 3 1/2 gallon square buckets. 9x9x14 perfect for my little set-up. Will be using some of them for pepper plants outside as well. Check with your local bakery's and stores with bakery's to get in on the freebies.:Sharing One:

I used to be a cook in arestaurant. If you go to one, just ask for them, usually they have a stack of the five gallon buckets, and other containers. Look around thier dumpsters too, and behind grocery stores as well.
