Hi everyone new to growing game been a spectator for a while and decided to take the plunge so buckle up folks. I'm in the UK and this is my tent in a shed grow.

bio tabs mixed with plant magic plus soil.
12ltr RHIZO pots
80x80x180cm tent
600W HID dimmamble ballast
Carbon filter
acoustic extraction fan which was gifted to me.

X2 Mephisto toof decay seeds

I've gone for a simple regime so I can take it all in and enjoy it without worrying to much about feeding schedules. Ive gone how Mother Nature works and plonked them straight into plain plant magic soil soaked in tap water in some small plastic containers. I've prepared my Soil in my RHIZO pots following the biotabs instructions just waiting to be soaked and stuck into the tent to climatise. Then pot when ready.

The seeds have been in soil since tues 9th evening and been in the tent now for over 48hours temps are 25-28degrees and they are showing signs through the soil this morning.

I had Afew issues with temps to start with but think I've got that stable now, until the heat comes, I know some of you are going to say I should have gone straight into my final pots but I couldn't wait another day for my pots and wanted to get the beauties going. Any ideas on when I should transfer I don't want them going into cardiac arrest.

ENJOY FAMALAMA

Today I've brought a fan to stick in the tent to hopefully help with circulation and help my temps, I've gone for 18/6 schedule, decided to turn them off at 1pm to hopefully counteract high temps during the day,
would leaving my circulation fan cause any problems?
Then Im thinking I can water them as they wake at 7 I'm always thirsty first thing when I wake up.
Really pleased so far temps have been a steady 27 degrees.

looking good in here mate i wish i had as much luck with the temps i get mine up to 31c sometimes iv had to pull back to a 14/8 hr light cycle since your doing biotabs i would suggest going straight into the big pots from the start reduces chances of stressing them or stunting them by root bounding or transplanting stress just my two cents :2cents::slap:

Cheers dude At least it's not a million miles out, are you in the U.K.? I did upsize the ducting size which helped me,
I know I've done naughty "FORGIVE ME AFN" for I have sinned lol I just couldn't resist being my first grow I had everything apart from my RHIZO pots, I waited all day for the postman, never showed so I've took the gamble hopefully it's not going to bite my behind. Just unsure when to transfer to the 12ltr.

Hey welcome to AFN! :welcome:

You can start them in a cup if you want, I do all the time. Check my Mephisto Goodness inside journal. The trick is not disturbing the roots and to not let them stay in the cups too long. I use two cups per plant, one inside the other, the inside cup I cut out the bottom out and a couple small windows in the sides. Once those leaves are the width of the cup it's time to transplant, don't wait or they will be stunted. Your cups appear pretty shallow compared to the 16 oz solo's I use, so don't wait long.
You can have your fan run 24/7 if you want.
Happy growing! :vibe:

Thanks @iampepe il have a butchers, I will be going straight into the RHIZO pots next time just me being an impatient virgin, premature seed popper lol
Thank you for your advice it will be taken on board, YES that means I can get them potted soon.
I'm only thinking of using the fan on warm days and if my temps are struggling. My lights are mainly on at night so I'm hoping temps should be stable enough without.

So I potted my little seedlings the other day into my RHIZO 12ltr pots using plant magic plus soil and gone down the bio tab route. I had mixed my soil Afew days before hand, I wanted something todo. It seemed pretty straight forward but even I managed to mess it up.
DO OR DONT you soak you soil and when.

Being new to it all I ended up soaking the soil when I had potted the seedling with around 5litres of water mixed with there ORGATREX and BACTREX. I am So annoyed as I have now ran out and will need to buy more to finish. So will the poor seedling survive and what have I done wrong.
