New Grower G-14 and Greenomatic

I'll bear that in mind thanks blue. I used to top dress on my vegetables, but they weren't really too sensitive. My biobizz grow should be here by tomorrow, so I'll just go with that then, and my bloom feed and molasses. Maybe next time I do an auto grow I could get an extra one on the go just for experimentation purposes. Ideal way to learn. Can't beat getting you're hands dirty.

Absolutely mate, you can learn loads from just reading here - the theory of growing, but it's when you actually test things out and experiment that you really start to understand whats going on!

I'm a bit cautious when it comes to experimentation because of my lack of space, but if you can grow what you need and still have space for an experimentation - that would be ideal!
^_^

Well, once space permits I'll be back to indoor growing too, but I must say there's been something therapeutic about my greenhouse grow. After being so clinical with my indoor grows I've been having good fun with the greenhouse, leaving a lot to chance. Ideally I'd still do more prep next time, but it must be the fresh air and the real sunshine.

It's been interesting. I found indoor grows quite clinical because I was so prepared but my lack of preparation and control over conditions in the greenhouse has made it quite an exciting project. Given me a spring in my step for growing again.

Hi Pizpot

Nice greenhouse, I'd love to use mine but have a nosy neibough problem.

I like to add molasses in the bloom phase i generally use blackstrap molasses made from sugar cane.

If you are using BioBizz Grow you don't need to add molasses as one of its constiuant part is organic sugar beet molasses.

Using baby bio is ok in the short term as it is better to have your girls not going hungry and getting N def, although you already know BioBizz is gonna totally sort them out.

I agree with Blue on the top dressing with guano to easy to go over the top with ferts. Guano is powerful stuff especially if you are already following the prescrided doseage of BioBizz.

I have seen some awesome grows using Subcool's supersoil which have gone full grow using nothing more than water (large pots were used)

Using light mix and and fert is also ok as you already know, but think if you can buy or make super soil it would be a the prefferable way to go.

Here's how to make sub cools super soil - http://www.hightimes.com/read/subcools-super-soil-step-step

I would also say add some mycorhhizal root inoculant , it seriously gives you plant a boost by creating a secondary sybiotic root system of fungal hyphae.

Here a little read about what mycorrhizae can do to benefit your plant - http://mycorrhizalsymbiotics.com/content/benefits-mycorrhizae

I'll be sure to keep followin your grow, looking forward to future post.

Peace

Thanks growerz, some interesting things for me to read through there. I didn't realise bio bizz grow had molasses in so I might cut that from my feed. The baby bio seems to have done the short term job, and my bio biz grow arrives today at some point (or in theory it does, it's not like Royal Mail would let me down is it!), the soils still moist so I'm holding off feeding them until it arrives.

Greenomatic

Just thought I'd share some updated pictures with you guys. They seem to be doing ok right now, though we seem to have suffered a loss of the intense sunshine we had earlier in the summer.
