Hi everybody, I'm about 5/6 weeks into a grow on some autos (g14 and greenomatic).
I've had plenty of experience of indoor grows, but as I'm restricted on my ability to do more of that I decided to take a chance on trying a couple of autos instead.
I must admit it was a last minute decision and I didn't do any of the prep I used to do for the indoor growing. I literally got 2 big ass pots, mixed a couple of bags of potting soil and a couple of bags of bog standard compost from the supermarket, germinated my seeds between paper towels then planted when they had decent tap roots. They don't seem to have had any major problems considering, but being new to autoflowers I thought I'd post a couple of pictures and ask for experienced opinions from the experts

I should've added that I've been putting molasses in the water once a week too, and I'm on a light feed (just started) of biobizz bloom (approximately 1ml per 2 litres of water which I'll increase according to how the plants react, as I'm using a medium I'm not used to). The g14 is a about 3'5" tall from the base of it and the greenomatic almost 2'5", both in my greenhouse. There's plenty of little buds appearing.

Hi Pizpot

Welcome to the forums mate :)
The girls look nice and big - definately loving the sun.

I'm certainly no expert, but have used Biobizz in the past. It could be the light, but the leaves are looking a little pale green to me.
If you have Biogrow or veg nutes with N, i'd add some to your feed. If i remember rightly at week 6 i was using around 2-3ml per litre of grow and bloom.

There's an great biobizz thread here - i'll go and grab the link for you.

All the best
Blue ^_^

Thanks for the response Blue, yeah, I thought they were getting a little pale, more so on the g14 so I added some Epsom salts earlier today, but not on the greenomatic. Like I say, because of my speedily cobbled together soil mix I'm not completely sure how to make sure I don't over do it, so I'm looking to make a gradual increase. On my indoor grows I was better prepared with a light soil mix more or less completely reliant on nutes I was used to working with, so this is a bit new, especially as this is my only auto flower grow. Seems like a bit of a different ball game in theory. After reading your response I've ordered some biobizz grow. Even if it only gets used a few times its worth it to make a nice healthy job.
P.s.- thanks for the link mate, I'll look right now. Knowledge is power and that.

I know it's not the greatest but until my biobizz grow comes through I'm going to give some baby bio. Far from ideal, but given the choice of that or nothing it comes up trumps.

Ok, so I gave the g-14 a shot of baby bio just to combat the yellowing. Worked fine on indoor grows in a pinch, so I'll keep an eye on them. Biobizz grow is in the post so it'll be here soon enough. The greenomatic is still pretty lush and green, so I thought I may as well leave it alone and feed it on the biobizz.

I was also toying with the idea of top dressing with some guano for Nitrogen. Anyone do this or have input on if its a bad idea?

Starting to green up with the baby bio. I'm looking for some high nitrogen bat guano today. Either to make a tea or top dressing. Maybe do both. Will this affect my biobizz bloom feed? Next year I'll be better prepared and I'll either try my hand at a super soil mix or revert to my old indoor light mix and really heavier on nutes from the shop.

Hi Pizpot :)

I personally steer clear of top dressing! I'm sure it works really well for some people, but i just worry about the dosage. I like to know i'm putting in say 4ml per litre of whatever i need, then if something goes wrong, i have a point of reference.

So my thoughts are, keep it simple and measured :)
I think from memory, biobizz (and organics) take about three days from feeding to show results, so if you see say a tip burn, it's an over nute problem from about 3 days ago.
