I bought a 10 pack of Dutch Passion SC and germinated 2 of them a few weeks ago. I used the paper towel method like I always do and have great success with it but these cracked and started then died....I am trying 3 more right now and 6 other seeds of different strains all popped 2 days ago and these have done nothing....Has anyone had experience with SC and how did you germ. I used paper towels in a container and I put them on my dish receiver box for warmth it stays warm and dark and has allways worked at a 99% success rate....Besides the SC not working out I have only ever lost 2 auto wappa seeds out of 12

You should pre soak the seeds for around 12 hours or until they sink when tapped. This softens the bean and allows it to swell. Then use the paper towel till you get a taproot. You can go one step further and take a piece of fine sandpaper gently across the shell. This will create a texture which will help with water abosbsion.
Hope this helps

yeah I did the shot glasses of water on my heat pad over night then paper towels inside Tupperware ''dark'' on top of my dish receiver which is warm. I just germed 3 more and they all worked out fine....not sure what happened maybe to wet or something? but they were all done the same and I have never lost a seed before these SC and 2 autos all within a week

hey i had trouble getting my raspberry coughs germinated, all my other beans always germinated, but with the coughs they carry cambodian genetics and i think they like specific germination methods. heres how i got mine to sprout, i put 1 drop superthrive in mug of water, let sit 24 hours and direct sowed into a cup and left by window... hope this helps

I got 5 more I will have to try this method with. I did end up getting 3 to germ and sprout by using the paper towel method then as soon as they cracked open so I could barely see the tail I sowed them into a jiffy pellet with only water and clonex solution ''not gel'' but I will try your method and see what happens. How many weeks did you have to run your cough's in bloom?

In on this one too, best of luck TD.

GEDC0175.jpgGEDC0174.jpg Did not plan of a journal for these SC because the 2 best ones will be used as mothers so im not sure on the day at the moment but there new.lol after I get the clones going I will do a SC grow journal but I will document the one I grow outdoors this summer along with other in a outdoor journal section...these were growing in some hot soil that I should have not used around the jiffy pellets but transplanted last night into black gold seedling soil so they will turn around soon

sativa seedbank raspberry cough

had their blackberry and saw 2 phenos

1 purple more kush niggetted and one golden green and had longer popcorn stems that somehow fused into larger buds hugging the meristem their same height, i assumed the golden pheno was more part of the raspberrry cough genetics since its once of the two parents the other being black domino, a kush from washington usa

so i got a pack of raspberry cough fems
