Extraction Getting the most from my crops

So I watched a video with bubble man in it where he visits a huge operation and they collect absolutely every trichome there is!

I've got bubble bags for the trim, gonna collect the keif from my grinder and the bud will be smoked with popcorn bud being made into butter.

Has anyone used one of them humidor boxes with a micron screen and a glass plate to store/cure their bud in before and if so, is it worth forking out 100 notes for a large one?

Someone on here has one mate and loves it. Can’t remember who it is though.

Personally for me, if you have 100 quid that you were thinking of throwing in the bin, why not give the posh box a go. If not, don’t bother! [emoji23]

I literally think it’s a pure “luxury item” that doesn’t do anything that can’t be done for 99 quid less, but if you have the cash it’s a lovely bit of kit.

All you really need to cure bud properly is a sealed air tight container dude. Doesn’t make much difference what it’s made of. I’d say the best results I’ve had have been when using plastic tubs with air tight lids. Seems to cure better than in glass for me.

It's not the cure I'm worried about but the trichomes that fall off during curing/processing. I'll see if I can find the video in a bit

Screen boxes are for sorting trichomes by size to make trichome concentrates (hash). Humidors are storage boxes. There's really not much overlap, such as screening boxes are not used for storage.

You seem to be asking the wrong question then mate? As mentioned above, humidor is for keeping a constant humidity?

But my point is, even with bigger crops, there's still leftovers going to waste. I want as much for the money I've spent on equipment and stuff as possible. I'm gonna get one anyway, maybe next month.
