3/4 pots are showing nitrogen deficiency. Gave them a feed with 30-10-10 yesterday, and they already look and smell better today! Will see how they're doing after the weekend: I think flowering had slowed down because of low N. I wanted to keep N low but it looks like I let it get TOO low. ;) Significant growth again since last night.

I was waiting to see if castings alone would keep them green. Apparently not! They look much happier now. I'll still hit them with castings but they may need more N in a week. Time will tell :)

Got a bit of heat damage on the colas on one of my Bubblelicious girls...she's too close to the HPS and it can't go any higher. I bought a new tent. I've had plants grow too tall in this tent several times and it sucks. The new one is about 8" taller so that should help some, and then I have more height and can use an LED without burning. Maybe one day I'll have both tents going, but not for now! lol. One tent is already a lot of work.

Crazy how much taller the sunrise is compared to the other plants! Theyre looking great !!

Not to jack tread but do anyone now how 4assed monkey stacks up to gg4 photo period? I want to know if any Mephisto strains are on par with gsc or gg4 photos?

The girls are chugging right along and continue to grow upwards! The BK Sunrise is 18" taller than everything else in the tent. lol. I know for next time to keep everything topped and no taller than a foot high before flowering starts! I've only got a six-foot-tall tent and I've found 14" from my HPS to be the safest distance. Lots of heat damaged fan leaves up top, but the girls show no signs of slowing down and continue to fatten up. The BK Sunrise is definitely a sativa-dominant hybrid and I'm going to have lots of long, slender colas on that plant by the looks of things! She didn't take the N feed as well as the other girls and is showing signs of nitrogen toxicity, but she's still got a long way to go in flowering so I'm hoping she'll be ok and will use up all the N in the soil by harvest.

Here's the top of my furthest along plant, a Bubblelicious: around 2.5" at the thickest point on the largest cola. The heat damage from weeks ago is now very apparent! 30-40% of the pistils on the tops are brown, so I've still got 2-3 weeks to go on this plant.

Temperatures are heating up here, so I've got a cooltube and 6" fan to blow through the tube coming in. I already have AC on 24/7 to mitigate the heat. I'll put PM2.5 fabric on both ends of the hose to stop dust from getting into the tube and fan. I've noticed I need to change the filter fabric on my exhaust hose (I blow through my scrubber with my fan) very often since it gets clogged with dust rather quickly here in the big city.

I should've bought a cooltube years ago since I can get them for a good price locally and I'll save a ton on air conditioning this way. I was hoping to finish up before the spring heat started, but they've still got over a month to go in most cases. I think this particular girl will be done in a week or two, but the rest most certainly won't be!

Here's a group shot: heat damage is very apparent here! The plants are still budding right along, but I've definitely lost some yield to the heat damage. This has been a persistent issue over the last six years, but with the cooltube and taller tent, I should be able to grow bigger, taller plants and yield much more in the fall. Regardless, I know I'll have enough smoke from this run to last me almost two years, so I might just take a break until 2020 after these girls are done and put most of the dried bud in the fridge in vacuum sealed packs!

I've been watering in kelp (amazing for my plants) and was considering buying a new 250W ballast and bulb, but didn't want to use less power. The cool tube and 6" fan allow me to keep the wattage up. I won't be able to lower the light because of the ridiculously tall Brooklyn Sunrise, but at least the heat will be much easier to manage now!

Harvested one GGG4 that went all floppy on me and wouldn't stay up: great aroma and potency (I've already sampled some popcorn nugs)! Just under 2 oz after three days of drying.

Also harvested my larger Bubblelicious. I think I harvested her a week or two too late as the aroma is nowhere near as intense as it once was. Next time I'll harvest at peak aroma since I love the terps! About 3/4 oz I think. Next up is another Bubblelicous, then two more GGG4, and then the BK Sunrise. The slowest plant of all is a small GGG4. Going to have lots of smoke...I think I'll have enough for a solid year!

I feel good...nice up high with some body. Flavor isn't there yet, and the weed is a bit green tasting (not very because I fed very conservatively), but the potency and quality of high definitely are. Makes for great daytime weed right now!

The Bubblelicious has a lovely aroma that has yet to fully come back out again, but it tastes like the 24K I smoked in Amsterdam a few years ago. A very clean, enticing and sweet fruity aroma. Can't wait to see how she develops with a cure!
