Indoor GH GO box nutrient line any good for Promix

Yea I'm pretty my soil is just shooting blanks lol but the nutes I added seem to help them,they are starting to get fan leaves...

But I'm just gunna read on the thread until something goes really bad like turns brown or something

Just get that GO Box inbound and you'll be square.

Keep in mind that with auto-flower plants, it's wise to start with 1/4 strength mixes compared to what
the feeding schedule suggests

The x-factor is still that Miracle Gro Perlite.....not many people would advocate for the use of that stuff.

But hopefully its just enough to sustain them..I just bought it cause I walked into a firesale,whole store half off lol
But 8 quarts to 3.4 cubic feet isint that much really

I'm using HPS right now a week in,does heat mess or lack of it mess with the pH or something in promix?

But I might just read the help line now on then ,what's catagory is it under again?

No HPS does not mess with the ph of pro mix soil bro hps creates more heat so in order to retain water they put vermiculite in it. leds do not create the same heat so there is not the need for vermiculite. I have been growing with pro mix bx for 25 years out doors it is the only one I will use outdoors or in on doors under metal halide or HPS. I am using sunshine mix 4 with just perlite because i am using leds. It is a fantastic medium that should produce huge plants when fed accordingly

Is it just perlite or m g soil mixed with perlite. If it just MG perlite well then perlite is just perlite nothing more. All you are doing by adding more perlite is making the soil more porus allowing more air to get to the rootball and will have to water a little more frequently IMO

yeah man your just increasing the available O2 at the root structure.But MG perlite is fine..BUT!! you have to find their one that has none,ZERO ziltch...of the pre added or treated with..straight perlite. your best bet man is look for the 4CF bags of so(even online there a good deal too) or medium sized horto grade perlite and its a lil less than 30 bucks andit'lllast you a year and its really good stuff. buying the small bags is ok,just more cost effective since you'll not have to buy it again.not for a good bit anywho lol

Pro mix bx is just a ph'd soiless mix sphagnum peat moss perlite vermiclulite with some lime ph'd at around 5.5 to 5.8. I f grow ing with leds go with sunshine mix 4 just perlite so it drys quicker it is too at arounf 5.5 to 5.8

Every bale of Pro Mix that I've tested has had a neutral pH of 6.9 - 7.0. BX is great for growing under HPS with their higher heat. HP is best for low heat source lights like T5s, CFLs and LEDs.

If it just MG perlite well then perlite is just perlite nothing more.

Unfortunately that's not the case with MG perlite. MG treats it with nutrients so if it's used it should be washed first to remove the nutrients.

Shit I am so sorry those fers put nutrients in there perlite i never ever would have thought that I have bought industrial size bags of perlite for years when using a three way mix outdoors. I talked directly to their techs who told me they always aim for a neutral pH. I've verified that myself by testing bales using my Accurate 8 soil probe. Most have been spot on 7.0 with the occasional bale at 6.9.

Liquid coating. Fortunately it's water soluble and can be washed off.
