Lighting GN Rebel serie!

The rebel tech is superior over the others, and my electric bill does matter!

Just spoke to Grow Northern,

Me
hi again jeremy, another quick question, on the new models of lights i noticed there is a switch to enable you to turn the modules off, i currently have one of the models without the switch, would it be possible to add the switch to a older unit?#

Grow northern:
we are not in a position to customize the older units we can only have them assembled with the switch in.

Me:
thats no problem, someone else was asking and i thought i would try and find out, thanks again

Grow northern:
no problem.

that sorts that out, and i would assume you couldn't add a switch to the MS0006 either

hi can someone correct me but, is this new light around 500 quid or am i confused ? as usual!, if so can i get a low income discount lol,

Depends if you've already got a GN light, if so I think you can just buy the upgrades which will be about £100. I don't know what the price of the whole unit will be on its own though

yeah bro its £100 PER module and you have to do it in pairs so it will be £200 minimum

6 modules in the MS0006 and four modules in the MS0004, you dont have to do the full light at one go, but you have to do it in pairs because it has to be the same type of modules connected to the driver :peace:

Ah rite I get ya, it all makes more sense now.

the thing grow northern need to be careful of, is , although its great that they are trying to push the envelope and get to the best as leds can be, that they also need to be carefull not to push the tech out past peoples affordability, and anything priced 400 plus in the uk- i would think would be a bit too much for most people- although i am sure i could be wrong!!, but i would rather have the light spread of two ms6 instead of this unit, but hey like i said i know little about this stuff, also because unfortunately parts of there customer base are based in country's like the uk, where they would also loose all there grow equipment should the old bill come a knocking- anyways just my 2 cents worth- the lights do look great though
