Dear GrowNorthern,

First of all, welcome to AF. Like to see more LED company join in. The more we can share knowledge the better. Second, my congrats for the partnership with DP. Glad to see DP is bringing proven technology to the mass. A company as DP with a lot of credibility can lower the bar for people who are doubtful to try revolutionary grow lights such as LED.

Now, let me come to the point I am trying to make. First of all a little background of me. I am a computer hardware fan. I put my own computer together and search for the best components available. It does not matter if it cost a little bit more. Energy consumption and noise are big priorities for me.
I have been building computers for years, but sadly the technology on the desktop does not evolve fast enough lately. So now my interest is on LED lights and other energy efficiency light technology such as plasma lights and induction lights.

I am also a gadget freak and an web developer. I eat, breed new technology. I have a two Blackstar Chrome (4spot and 9spot). I love these lights. I do have a couple Chinese import from AlieExpress with my own spectrum. For the money you can get a relative good product from China, but for my plants I want the best, even if it cost a bit more.

What has struck me is that I don't see any LED company do this. I have not see any LED manufacture build a great or exceptional (VEG/ Mother) One spot LED module (I only see one spot flowering modules).

Why is this so important. First of all, the people who are getting in LED Grow lights are mostly self sufficient growers. Most self sufficient growers grow small amounts. One or two plants. At least the first three to five weeks a one spot module is adequate for this purpose.
A one spot module can have many purpose. Seedlings, mother plant, or even an extra spot during flowering. I can be use for auto flowering but also for none auto's. There are some peoples who like to grow indoor but flowering outdoor. (You also have people who grow with LED, but flower with HPS). For these people this comes in handy.
A one spot module lower the bar for anyone trying to grow in general (peppers and palm growers) but also for people who are hesitant to try a new technology.

Ask every SEED company what happened when the started to sell smaller amount of seeds. The sales have sky rocket. First seeds where pack with ten or more seeds. These days some seed company will even sell you ONE seed.

I wonder why none of the LED company ever thought of this marketing concept. Lower the bar for anyone to try out the lights for the crucial phase on the plants. Even people who didn't even grow before would try because the initial cost are fairly low. I started first with a 4 spot lights, within a couple of weeks I order the nine spot because I was so convince and I didn't even grow indoor before. They say seeing is believing. People are skeptic in general.

I bet that if you guys made an exceptional One spot Module even non believers or other skepticals would give I try. Imagine if they where convince and I didn't even talk about brand loyalty.

One last remark. I don't know if it is because of redundancy but I wonder why many LED manufacture are using multiple smaller fans instate of one bigger and quieter fan. All those small fans have a higher RPM and multiple smaller fans increase noise. Would love to see more 180mm fans in LED growing lights. Silverstone makes greats fans .

I would like to see you guys presenting a low noise ONE spot module in the Rebel serie with a VEG/ Mother spectrum. This would be an awesome product. Even people who already got enough lights would be sold. Make it upgradeable and give it daisy chain option. Most LED lights can be used in an array so people can scale if they would like to.

In the future I would not mind upgrading to micro led (thanks for the link BTW, Now I know that the future is promising) if that was an option you offered.

Thanks in advance.
