i just spoke to Jeremy on live chat, when upgrading to the rebel series on a MS0004 you have to do it in pairs as it has to be the same modules connected to the drivers. just thought i would throw that out there for anyone wondering

So you mean you need to replace 2 or 4 modules, or do you mean the modules must be placed side by side?
Btw is there a switch available on the ms004 to switch 2 on or 4 on?:Cool:

well it has to be in pairs, so you could either do it 2 at a time or all 4 in one go, if i remember correctly when i replaced my broken module the wires were just enough to get it connected so i would think it would be side by side. i wouldn't see any benefit switching 2 modules off in a four spot light,

If you have 2 units hanging and you changes on both the units 2 of 4 with rebels I guess when the little ones are just seedlings the light of onley one of the units using onley the rebels should be quite enough and better for the energie bill and the environment ! Not?

I have lost you here, so you would have two lights but you only want to use half of one light? surely using the 4 spots would be better for the plant with a mix of the standard modules and the rebels! No?

My english is kinda sloppy
Mean first 10-15 days only 2rebels on 1light!
16-30 2rebels on 2lights!
31-40 4rebelspots and 2 normal!
41-end 2light 8spots on! ;-)

if i had two MS0004 both with two rebel modules each i would run one of them in veg and then add the other when the plants start to flower or just run both from the very start, i dont really see the point in the switch tbh
