Have got a good friend of mine, who is looking to grow autos (he has been a long time grower with great success of monster photos, he taught me everything i know when i started growing).

He suffers major back pain, due to a accident, so would need something with good pain med quality, also good yielders as he smokes alot, they will be grown outside in beautiful southern spanish sun, getting a full days worth of direct light.

Any links to supplier sites would be great, even better so if they are in Spain.

Thanks for any help....

Hey Spanglish,

I found the stuff below somewhere. I don't how good the information is but thought I would pass it on. Waximus should also be able to help with this type of info as he speaks from personal experience and supplies for several medical users.
Cheers

I have taken this from another website. Please refer here for the original postlink http://www.420magazine.com/forums/me...ml#post2294314

Caveat:
I am not a medical doctor, nor do I play one on TV. I am writingfrom my experience and research. However, according to multiple studies in theUS National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health, CBDs have provenmedical applications in treating chronic pain, epilepsy, neuropsychiatric, andpsychiatric disorders. (i.e.: Cannabidiol:pharmacology and potential therapeutic role in epileps... - PubMed - NCBI)

Parents: For treating seizure disorders in children, very low THCstrains with a high CBD profile is recommended. Newly released Thunderstruck bySin City is commercially available in seed form and rivals Charlotte's Web.

Cancer: While this is not a cancer treatment list, for cancerapplications, try high THC strains of at least 15% THC with at least 5% CBD tomake the most of cannabis' synergistic curative properties, tumor reduction, appetite increase, pain relief, stress and anxiety relief. (EG: Blue Blood)High THC buds cut with high CBD buds is another option.

I built this list of high CBD strains while writing my CBD Medical Cannabis Brew thread. I wasn't expecting the listto get so huge. Hence, I decided to give the list its own thread so otherscould contribute and help with corrections. I've only included high CBD strainswhich have at least 5% CBD and excluded 1-5% CBD strains and strains that Icould not find percentages on because the definition of high CBDfluctuates and could mean anything. This is a seed only list as some popularCBD strains like Charlotte's Web may not be commercially available in seedform.

The list is divided the way it is to help growers decide which strains workbest for their growing conditions. Bushy photo period strains tend to be moreindica dominant. Mixed traits photo period strains can have phenotypes thatpull either indica or sativa growth patterns or have wild CBD fluctuations andshould be tested professionally for phenotype quality. Tall photo period strainstend to pull more sativa growth patterns. Autoflowering strains tend to haveruderalis growth patterns.

Thanks for the info bro, the "CBD Crew & Grass-O-Matic Med GOM Auto1.0 Feminised Autoflowering Seeds | THC: 4-10% | CBD: 15%" looks like the kind of effect he would be looking for, but only 50g per plant would have to plant a few to keep a good supply, heading in the right direction though, something with that effect but a bigger yielder, this guy is used to taking down about 6kg of bud a year from 8 plants, but with autos will get more harvests in due to long summers.

Hi Spanglish :) (thank you for the props, Duckster :)
My experiences with back pain have led me to a short list of effective strains, though most of the ones I recommend have a bunch of crosses, hybrids, etc that will also be effective.
First, any of the 1:1 THC/CBD strains, even low percentages of both, will be effective, though I usually make a glycerine tincture that is quite strong in order to maximize the effects. So, Dutch Passion CBD crew strains would fit the bill. BUT... for high yield, and outdoors, they aren't going to win any "fill the silo" awards... lolol
If its high yield/outdoors for pain, I'd go with a strong indica- Purple Kush, Greenhouse Seeds' Money Maker (Master Kush..) and Great White Shark (I just popped a pair of each- very high yielding, and quite potent strains that should rock, outdoors).
I've been testing an as yet unreleased Dutch Passion strain that boasts a 14:14 percent ratio, and while the effect from smoking it only lasts around 1.5 hours, it ELIMINATES my lower back pain, and spasming. That's what you can expect from a 1:1 strain, methinks. This one is just very powerful in both THC and CBD.
As for suppliers, I always use Attitude and Herbie's seedbanks, so no input beyond that..Sorry...
Now, if an indoor, and auto, grow is possible, then the Dragon strains (Stone Dragon, Black Dragon, Russian Dragon, etc) are known to be Top Shelf pain meds, so long as they are brought to full maturity. They aren't heavy yielders, but get high marks for effectiveness. Mossy and Stone here on AFN have created these strains, and others have crossed them, so access to direct info on their effectiveness is a PM away :)
I hope this early ramble makes sense... lololol
Very best to you!

Hey Spanglish
My knowledge on this topic is very limited but always willing to help get someone pointed in the right direction. Hope you find what you're looking for!
