Heat issues and small yields have finally pushed me away from CFL and HPS. I just replaced 7 CFL's and one 150 watt HPS with 1 Advanced Diamond series 100W.
At the end of the first 24 hour period I had between 1 and 2 inches of growth on a combination of 1 Auto and 3 conventional plants.
The auto will harvest in 15 days so the extra growth spurt at this point was pleasing.
I would have gone with a stronger LED but cost and quality were a difficult marriage. Being retired I really had to stretch to find $280. Hope it's worth it in the long run!
