Hello everyone I’m wes. Long time outdoor grower but first time autoflower. I had a difficult time understanding the infirmary forum so I’ll just post with my intro. I’m an old dude and not very tech savvy. This is my first autoflower. It’s Buddha seeds purple kush and pic 1 is about a week old and pic 2 is just over 2 wks. 3x3 tent with (2) 1000w equivalent LEDs at 16”. 100 cfm ventilation. Miracle gro organic soil with distilled water. No supplemental fertilizer yet. Temps avg around high 70s, humidity a lil low. My question is: The leaf margins are slightly curling up, but doesn’t seem to have affected growth rate. Could this be a deficiency or environmental issue, or is this common for this strain? My core stock has always been a SK1xNL5 heirloom I hand carried from Amsterdam in 2000. Never had purple kush. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to getting to know the group. hi and 2x1000w at 16" (people talk of 24-36" with seedlings) sounds a lot to me,i thought canooing was heat or light related

Hello and welcome to AFN. It looks to be a light/heat issue going on. I start my COB/LED lighting at 36" from top of pots and let them grow toward the light then adjust from there if I have to raise as they stretch.

Yes, she was planted on the 26th, popped on the 27th. At 13 days she’s on her 4th node with 6 side shoots in a 5 gal pot. Hopefully she’s gonna be a beast. My first autoflower grow and new triple chip LED lights and the plants seem to love em. Thanks for the welcome and compliment.
