Hello I'm going to be new to growing autoflower. This will be my first season. With our early-and-often rainy season, I figure what better way to combat the mold problems most outdoor growers suffer in these parts than by flowering out the plants and pulling them down early. Before the rain starts! So begins my first adventure with autoflower. Special thanks to "Blessed in Washington" for leading me to this forum. I soon hope to be blessed in Oregon!

Hey great to meet a future outdoor grower! Best defense on mold is the internet! :D Do tons of research on strains that interest you, and know that guys in the UK/Northern Europe have very harsh cool/damp conditions.

Welcome to the best place on the web.. Great folks always willing to help.. Love it here hope you do as well

When I grow outdoors in northern climates I plant them indoors for 3-4 weeks until they become hardy little bushes before taking them outdoors ... I use a 1 gal root pouch for the pot and then plant pot and all in the soil ... this greatly reduces transplant shock ... Good luck w/ your grows ...

Hello Beau,

good to see you here. We have been waiting for you. Bless is a good chum of ours. So a pal of his is a pal of mine.

Don't know if Oregon is like the middle of the UK, but do check out my outdoor grow below........Happy growing my friend...eP.

Welcome aboard bud! I'd agree with reading some UK outdoor threads. I bet you can find a strain that will just shine with the wet conditions. Ask questions too, trust me, we love to talk ganja! Nobody is going to give you crap here for learning. Your in a great place with like minded people, and a wealth on info, enjoy it.

Welcome! I know Portland well. Indoors would probably be best most of the year. Although, you can plant a small auto strain in a 1 gallon pot and move it in and out, as you get some very warm weather there in the summers. Actually, since it's so hot sometimes, you might want to go with 3 gallons, or even 5, and then the plant will never dry out. Have fun with this. It's a great hobby!!!

Hey Beau! You found the forum. :-) You guys having a party at the office for 4/20? Let me know when your ready for those beans. I have two strains of 3 plants just getting started in flowering right now. They weren't flowering at all when I saw you. That is the great thing about autos. They grow fast, fast fast!
