Hi all,

Used to have account GreenGnostic here, but could not recover pw .. so back again with modified name.

Have had some very limited experience in the past with Photo based strains, but getting ready to start with some auto's.

Current plan is a outdoor supersoil based grow that will be getting a late season start. I live in Oregon, so current plan is to crack the beans on July 1.

I haven't ordered the seeds yet, but looking at DP Think Different, DP AutoExtreme, and SS Red Poison. Going to be using 7 gallon smart pots with Roots Organic based soil. - Input is always welcome.

And thank you EVERYONE on AFN .. the sheer quality and quantity of information on this site is amazing.

Central Oregon, high desert so outside grow should be interesting.

Hi,
I'm new to autos as well but in my opinion that roots soil is either to hot or to dense for autos. It doesn't drain well and I mixed mine with promix bx. I'm no professional by any means but I'm sticking with promix. BTW welcome to AFN

Thanks for the information, which version of Roots were you using? I was planning on using the Original mix, but thinking I might need to go with 707 after your statement.

The 707 is what I was using. I might be wrong it might a been something I did but I never had problems like that with regular old promix
