Old Reviews Grow room fire? I don't think so!

Even using a traditional auto fire extinguisher i would rather lose my plants than my house/and or a loved one and end up in handcuffs. Grow equipment and plants can be replaced, freedom and possible loss of life cant

That's what I thought about in the very first post! But If you can keep everything might as well!

Ill light one up in agreeance with you there brother.

Yeah man AFFF is fun but that Halon(If your around) is dangerous. But works perfect. At first till I started reading I thought it may have been an inverted Deluge system or something.LOL!

Halon isnt allowed in residential... only commercial. Halon exhaust all oxygen from the room... which kills fires very effectively... and people.

My guess is its dry soda... Bailer and I were drooling over these way back... seems they are finally reasonably priced... I think they were somewhere around $500 or 600 when we were checkin em.

not the one i put up mate, tis safe. Its a Halon copy,,, Halon was banned some time ago anyhoo cos of it 'nicer' qualities lol

I still wouldnt want to test out that theory that the new on is safe tho? any offers? lol

We used fm200 in our data centers its messy but effective. Halon I do believe is the best at protection in a server farm. This is a great post I may be investing.

It is the Best, but dangerous as hell.
Ive just found out that the MOD have used the safer one in Tanks and MPc's, absolutely safe to use with the crew members and absolutely effective, thats why you dont see many UK tanks burning and spitting after a RPG hit.

Source of information, a mate who now runs a superb combat gaming company, its gonna be on the gadget show soon. http://www.battlefieldlive.com/ he aint a grower tho or smoker, just a war hero.

Anyhoo theres the man you wanna speak to about anti fire devices in tanks etc... in fact anything Military, he's the man. Bloody good website too.

So is it safe for plants and humans? Best of both worlds? I might invest in one such as that if it is. Cause I just bought a new house! That's why my grow tent was on a budget!!! Lmao.

Ya my thoughts too a dry system or even a PKP.Highly corisive to electrical tho but ideal for electrical fires and a class A too. They have a civilian version of the Halon systems?WOW! Imma have to look at that.Ya brother i wouldnt wanna test it either.LOL!:joint:
