Hi I'm planning on putting a 140x140x200 tent with 600w hps in a blocked garage with a concrete floor. Winter is coming up so I'm going to lay the tent on 50mm kingspan (insulation) the light will be off from 9-3 in the daytime. Would if be okay to put a electric heater blowing towards the inlet hole of the tent when the lights are off because it's going to be cold In the garage when winter arrives. If someone could get back to me that would be great.

Thanks

most of us run 24/7 in the winter so we don't have to worry about heat ... how cold does your garage get in the winter ?

Well Ive just realised my garage has insulated walls and ceiling only the door isn't insulated also has a double glazed window. So I'm guessing it's not going to be real cold in there. I've never been in the garage around that time it's my first winter here

Sounds like your light running 24/7 (thank God for autos) will keep it warm enough ... if not you can add in a CFLs for light and heat ... a lot of heat escapes thru the door even when closed ... is there any way to cover it w/ a tarp ?

Yeah I could cover it up with bubble wrap or tarp! I might even cover it with insulation...
