I am afraid cleaning it will not help much.
Cleaning is just a first try in my temp lowering plan :xlaugh:. The next is DIY exhaust extender (blow hot air out of the grow room
Sounds logically (didn't clean it for 2 years+). But it gave a lot of heat even when is was new (as I told before my LED panel is an old model). However it is working 100% good and in other grow room ppl would be happy to have something heating there grow room a little (but not me as even without heating anything it is ~25c )

This question was resolved more than 50 years ago and is called Emerson Effect. In his research Robert Emerson extended understanding of photosynthesis. He discovered, that there are 2 different photochemical reactions that complete photosynthesis of any plant. One is driven by far red over 700 nm and completes the first one, well known before.
Later they discovered, that these processes are much more complicated but the fact that red and far red are necessary for complete photos. remained unchanged.
And complete photosynthesis means hard tasty buds in terms of marijuana. Without IR light buds are not so tasty and not so hard as you would like to.
Great tread :tiphat: !Just a quick question. The MS006 comes with dimmers now, 2 modules, 4 modules and all 6 modules.. Following TaNg's first post, so far I did 2 modules at 75cm, now at day 7 I switched the 4 modules on at 60cm is this correct? or is this for the full power 6modules?
Definitely you are not far from optimal position. I keep 2 of them on 75 cm from 4 modules and one of them on 55 cm, but she is not just under the light. The first two get some more light from lights afround so I keep this distance.
I monitor the stretch and go down with lights, but in small increments and slowly. Light down from 20 to 14 inches means exacty double energy for the plants. But it looks so little.
I like them to stretch a little bit in the first days (not to much, then they fall down), so that the first branches are not just 1 cm above soil. That is hard to maintain and water later. At least for me.
Well, and I am sure that the right distance between light and plants depends on how they grow and how you mantain them, too. So, what works for one is not necessary the best for another.

As you say every grow is different so it will probably take a little bit of tweaking for me to get it perfect.
I spoke to Dan at GN a couple days ago, getting some answers from the engineer can't hurt
And what he told me matches TaNg's recommendations
- From day 1 to day 7 --> 2modules at 30 inches
- Day 7 to day 18/20 (stretch) --> 2 modules from 24 > 18
- Day 18/20 till end off stretch --> 4 modules keep the same height as previous
- From beginning of flowering --> 6 modules and lower to 12 inch step by step
Correct me if I'm wrong..
I think that's it! (if I understood correctly, can't beat on the Northern accent :thumbs
Corrected my setup, I switched back to 2 modules, lowered to 55cm and got a slight stretch over night but nothing major and again as you said better have the lower branches clear of the soil !!
