Indoor Guido's First Auto LED/CFL... Black Skull Seeds Diesel-Matic

While not the first time for me, it is the first Auto. Not to mention the first time in Hawaii. Oh and first time in a Tent. Needless to say I didn't do good. I killed some prime seeds starting out. So I was lucky and my order from Single Seed Centre showed up.

I grabbed the Black Skull Seeds DieselMatic...and here we go:

Method:
1.Guido's CHOW (Coco/Hydroton) 50/50 soaked in Guido's Recipe for 24 hours..or more.
2.Wring out the CHOW and save the drain off. I usually store in 5 gal buckets.
3.Soak a rooter(next time I plan on eliminating this) in the runoff for 24 hrs.
4.Drop the bean(s) in a container of the runoff soaking for 24hrs max
5.Put in presoaked Rapid Rooter(next time I plan on eliminating this)
6.Light cycle 24x0
7.Handfed

I had to take off for three weeks at week three of this grow which is why the lapse in photos. Someone else had to tend the garden. I let the genetics do its thing, not manicuring or pruning.

(2) 60W HANS LED PANELS (Scored on Craigslist)
(2) Guido's ghetto Full Spectrum Auxiliary Light Array. (100w equiv CFL 1 ea 6500 & 2700) Home Depot
2x4 Gorilla Lite Grow Tent (Scored Craigslist)
6" inline variable fan (Scored Craiglist)
6" filter with charcoal(Craigslist again)
12" Clip Fan

Chemistry:

Mixed in 1 gallon batches, starting from seed technically. The coco mix is charged with a diluted mix of the following. Then varying amounts working up to the mfg. recommended full strength mix. Yes the Rooting products are used through out. Just did it. Thats why.

Two Weeks

A week after this point I had to leave for three weeks. The chores were handled by my lovely better Half Epiphany. I pre mixed the first two weeks for her as I was doing my own "RECIPE" up to that point. The third week she mixed on her own per the regular schedule for the Cutting Edge nutes and my RECIPE for the beneficials.

When I came back...I came back to this:

Almost there.... Being my first Auto, I am really watching the Trics... Yesterday, 02/10/2016, I finished up the Nute runs. I will be finishing up with a week of just water and Sour Dee from Cutting Edge Solutions. I may take it longer depending on how she looks.

Well gang, I pulled the plug on February 20th. Here are the final shots of this grow. The seedstock was excellent, thanks Black Skull Seeds. The Cutting Edge flushed well from the system.
Keep your eyes out for the Yeti....he's coming.
