Caught some 3-5 pound whitefish today....might be heading out tomorrow night for a walleye fish!! My buddies went out today and got 2 fish in the 24" class(and a bunch of smaller ones).

We have the walleys but 20" would be a record around here probably. That's great eating to. Just something about the dinner plate fish that gets me acting like a teenage boy chasing the girls. Have tons of lures but always take minnows for bait.

Nope on a log both my great grandfathers have fished for years and passed down the spot.

Haha yeah i hear you!! I LOVE crappies...love eating them and catching them as well!! My favorite is a Northland Hexifly tipped with a tiny minnow. Caught thousands of crappies over the last 10 years on those. Yeah we have some truly world class walleyes around here....my personal best ice wallleye was 28", best summer caught is 28.5". A friend of mine caught a monster 34" 2 years ago in the fall.

Holy shit.....have you checked out the Panoptix system? Insane...if your crappies are suspenders it is huge!!(if you have lots of cash for new tech and are totally fish obsessed i mean....LOL)

Nice fish brother and ya I work for my hobbies I just dropped a wad at the annual boat and gear show. Have for several it's holiday season to me. Yes ours are supenders til April then it's 3ft max.

Ahh well the panoptix is really only good for icefishing(well i guess not....it could be very useful in boat too)
