Lighting Help me light up my tent...

I will go with the 8-bulb unit..i know it is 1 cm to big but that really does not matter..I will make it fit...lol

Once again...many thanks :)

I have a tent that is 120cmx60cm and 170cm in height. 47.3 inches x 23.6inches and 66.9 inches in height....

Hi Justine, my 4 lamp T5 measures 47.25 at is longest point so it would work fine for you.
It is a Silver Star model SS4LTS. The reflector is angled so it should cover your area just fine. I have had mine for about 3 years with no issue but I do put new lamps in it every year. It uses 54 watt HO lamps

Don't know if they still make it but you should be able to find a full size fixture that will fit

Good Luck

Good info my friend good info.

I am starting to understand that 4 feet is not always exactly 4 feet when the unit is assambled... i will have to do another check today. But now I am sure i will get real good light coverage in there...

I really like the idea of having vertical bulbs on my poles.

I veg and flower all my photos vertical.... in veg i have 8 plants around one 400w mh and in my big tent i have 16 plants.... two 400w hps hung vertical and 8 plants aroung each light...:)....try doing that with LEDs...lol...most cost effective way of growing my ass...

Since you're considering T5H0s, here's another option for you. Same size but double the output running the XHO bulbs. 110 watts per bulb compared to 54 for HOs. A little more heat and power consumption but double the penetration. I'm on my first grow with some photos under them and am liking the results. Same manufacturer as the Bad Boys.
