Sorry you're not getting' the love Kosh...

I know next to nothing regarding CFLs but I did notice one thing...

I've seen people mention that CFL bulbs emit more light on the larger "contact area" of the side of the bulb
and people have suggested hanging them horizontally as opposed to vertically.

Hopefully, one of the CFL guys will pop in and give his or her 2 cents on the amount of light being
sufficient or not :)

Good Luck!

Thanks, well im trying to get my JH that is starting week #7 to finish and along with him im vegging there 2 think different`s untill they will start flowering and then i move them under 600w hps.

I will hang them horizontal but am i getting enough wattage and 6500k / 2700k in there?

those lights will supply enough, but if you have more use them, maybe a couple more warm lights, your babys will thank you later

A good rule of thumb is 60 watts per square foot. 60 cm x 60 cm is roughly 4 square feet, so a minimum of 240 watts. You've got 339 total watts, so you should be fine. I made some inexpensive reflectors from some aluminum flashing. Glued some mylar to them and they worked great. I use them to supplement my 250 watt CFL veg light.
