look like a rivet to me if it is it would have to be drilled out
if its not its a tx star

edit: agito beat me to it. it looks like a rivet, drilling it out is fairly easy

hmmm its rivet for sure. need to buy a revet gun. does anyone know the normal rivet size for pc cases?

a rivet gun is like a hammer that knocks and flattens the rivet into place, it wont remove them. you just need a drill and drill bit for that. or you could try and hack saw the heads off if you dont have a drill

naa i got a drill just the noise i worry about. thanks for the help peepz!

I've never had to drill out a rivet to open-up a pc case or to remove drive dock/bay cage - I'm guessing there's a latch, lever, hinge or something that needs to be released & probably the whole thing will come right out.

Only see that now on high end cases or real old towers.

Only way to pop them out like already mentioned is with the old drill,Might get away with using a small flat head screwdriver too if can get to the back of the rivet and give the lip of it a smack or 2

Today I totally destroyed about 25-30 of those rivets while making my pc grow. I just used a flat head screwdriver and a hammer and knocked the tops off them all. took about 15 mins and made lots of noise but worked like a charm and was powered by bacon sandwiches !

I did it to two of my cases, and they are fucked up now. I don´t know if i ever can get them to be lightproof. :(
