Outdoor Herb's Garden - 5 Strains In One Northern Garden

Wasn't gonna update for a while but made a error yesterday and just feel like logging the growth in the last 3 days :o

Had nice weather yesterday and day before, looks set to get crap now like...
The weather being nice has certainly allowed them a little growth spurt :D

I did as I said make an error though:(
I was moving my plants from a spot where they would soon be shaded to a point where they would get full sun for longer & I ended up dropping one of the white rhino's
The soil jumped out and she got all dislodged, i got her back to together but her root system certainly cant have been helped so I am expecting slower growth from this one but I am happy she made it through at all:crack:

Pics are below, the pot with the white dot on is the unfortunate white rhino

Update 29/06

Update time ladies & gents! & updates will now be weekly:dance2:

It has been a concerning week for me on the whole this week as you will know if you visit the sick health section of the forums.

I have had spots on leaves, yellowing, signs of thrips, poor weather. soil retaining water, leaf curl down, stretching, slower growth than previous grows...:help:

It seems its mainly been down to the soil being fertilized lightly & retaining too much water, add in poor weather & its not been a good week for them.

I am over monitoring though & worrying, i'm getting more at ease & seeing things improve now:D.... but still will be ordering 5 or more replacement beans to make sure.
I will be getting LR2 by the joint doctor as I really like the smoke & i've grown it problem free numerous times:smokeit:

I have re-potted the majority now, 4 were watered in but the rest have yet to be watered in as it's too risky at the moment, ill be leaving it a couple of days and will water in the morning of a good weather day.

For the newly repotted ones, I have mixed some basic supermarket compost with the plant magic soil to try lower ferts & water retention:gthumb:

Picture time then after all the rambling!

The first picture is a groupshot of all 14, the tundras are quite clear still as they are 8 days ahead.

Below is a picture of the best tundra, she was the first to hatch & she is genetically superior it seems to the others.
All the tundras are in 100% plant magic soil supreme.

Here is a second pic of her, branching view.. (LST will start mid next week or slightly earlier depending on growth)

And finally I have a picture of the best seedling which happens to be a think different!, most seedlings are at a similar level though.

& that's my update done for a week ladies & gents!!:check:

Update 07-07, We have take off! Boom!

Update time! First one ill be doing with progress that makes me impressed & no concerns..

Firstly lets start with the weather report, it was dire still, really dire...
There was no sun, there were days with below 10 night temps & rain + high winds.
but then it got good & I think this will show you when!

My herbs got off to the slowest start i have ever encountered due to a mix of things but they are now on track to become at the very least, average yielders but hopefully I can work my magic & get much better than average!Cool:

Just for the record, those unsure or confused...all my plants are stored overnight in the garage now.

Let me start off the fun with a groupshot the Tundra's!

All Other Plants Groupshot

So the tundras bar the runt are all starting to look pretty and growing very, very fast!
The other strains are still unimpressive but they are also starting to find their feet with growth and will soon be looking good.

I also now have some LR2's though, I ordered 5 fems, 4 germed so far & 1 of them passed away, must have been heavy handed but it was struggling to get it's seed shell off, doesnt normally kill them..
Ah well, 3 good ones and 1 hopefully to come up yet (all are 24 or less hours old)

New Lowryders

Finally, all the pics done but for weather forecast, as most of the UK - Looking good!! If this all comes true this forecast I would be amazed if the plants dont double in size or more

Looking Fucking Stellar Herb :five:

Cheers OJ - Getting there now!

Just gonna follow on from previous update as I forgot to mention at least 2 of the Tundras are now starting to flower although I think 3 may be now.
I just spent about an hour doing my LST and mixing soil & perlite for my lowyrder's, they are not in 7.5L pots and all watered in! pics of the LR2's to come in the next update.

Here are a couple of pictures of my LST then, I have been fiddling for a couple days, want to get the best out of the LST but not stress the plant or risk damage.
The internodes are very, very close together so it was difficult.

These are two of the smaller Tundras (excluding the much smaller runt)

Just a quick none picture update, been to busy with work to sort all the material out so pics will be this weekend.

My tundras are all flowering and have really come on leaps and bounds however I will be reducing the light they are getting per day as the flowering has not kicked off as much as I would hope so I will reduce light to increase the flowering hormone.

Also one Tundra has been completely topped, how I'm not sure, was a little upset with that and one of the other plants has been half topped, again a little bit of a mystery but think must have been something to do with pressure on lst string.

I have at least 2 think differents flowering and strangely 1 white rhino which is a runt, thats actually starting to get more dense pre flowers and bud up.

The lr2s are doing fine but still small seedlings, they are however starting to get new leaves so the growth will soon speed up.

Everything ok in conclusion with the tundras now getting quite impressive and the lst working wonders.

Cheers! I shall follow yours if you have one on the go at the moment?

I've just made a few changes tonight. My none flowering plants will now be staying out in the garden at night so that they get the max daylight & will not flower till I want them to & my flowering plants are in a cupboard thing that stops light so I can restrict their light thus increasing the flowering hormone!, it had a gap in the door part of it so I have covered it with two towels that will stop any remaining light that could have got in.

It will also decrease my workload in the mornings and better my security for a few reasons I wont bore you with..

I'm basically treating all plants as photo's now as I'm quite confident it will make a difference, the flowering is not going as it should so whilst they are auto flowering, they are not properly.

A HUGE growth spurt on the lowryders in the last 10-15 hours, still small but they are rapidly developing new leaves/nodes now, suddenly getting going..
