Outdoor Herb's Garden - 5 Strains In One Northern Garden

Cheers lads..well I assume lads!

Will def follow your next grow vape so let me know when you get it going!

Allsorts of issues for me at the moment as there are people always working opposite when I am wanting to get the plants out and today I have left the flowering plants in complete darkness in a garage that has been reaching up to 40c.
I had to be out at work otherwise I would have handled it different.

The none flowering plants were left outside overnight and got fairly well attacked by some pest.
I will just have to navigate this tricky patch as best I can, my first concern is once the sun goes down check to see if the flowering plants are okay or frazzled...

22/07 Update - Day 46 Since first seeds hit some water..

Picture Update

A fair bit of scrolling on this update so I apologize but it should be worth it :gthumb:

I have had many issues since the last update & these include but are not limited to...WTF is that

-Greenfly
-Earwigs
-Other pests
-A cat sleeping in a pot and ripping off two main branches of a tundra
-A tundra being completely topped.
-A think different being half topped (effectively fully topped from growth since)
-Issues with getting plants out of garage for being seen so started bringing in house but one of the people I share with does not like the smell and I did agree originally they would never be in the house so I was taking liberties.
-Following on from the previous point, I had no space to keep the plants light proofed in the garage so I had to make a shelf in my storage spot but that wont last them long and is not 100% safe for them so I have now ordered a darkroom.
-Not being able to update my LST, water, put in garage etc when I have wanted to, this will change now as I will be working nights - I am hoping this will be better but it may rise it's own issues.

Having said that the weather has been (apart from the last few days) absolutely insane & I think its safe to say they have grown a little since the last update.
I am in the process of adding extra soil to all plants that can fit more in the pot & watering with two pints with a bear cap full of BioBizz fish mix, the lowryders were given fish mix also but at a 3rd of that amount.

Here is the last 1 months daily max temperature graph..

Here is two lovely groupshots from the 19th enjoying the sun. All other photos were taken today from after the 19th groupshot.

Tundra Flowering

The next plant is a bit of an oddball...it has happened to me with a blue cheese plant once before which gave me some early smoke and a nice one at that.
It has gone into flowering before you would expect given that it is a photo, it's also a runt but it's now kicking out some flowers quite nicely but gaining no height or width.

As I am a busy bee nowadays I have done the rest as one, the noticeably different ones on the right are the auto moscow's (I will include more personal strain specific photos during flowering)

All that concludes my update, I could have gone into 5x the detail but it would get way over the top! Hopefully this will give you a good idea of whats been going on and how they are getting on!

Cheers herbalists!

10days approx since my last update and things have changed quite a lot in terms of the plants stage from vegetative to flowering, I did seem to need to treat them like photo-period strains though for them to begin flowering properly, they were stalling on pre flowers for longer than any plants ever have before.

Must make a point of mentioning that despite all the other strains in terms of flowering, they are looking very good and all the signs are there of a good flowering period (they are starting to)

I have had problems with weather, un-deal conditions at night in a damp, no airflow tent or cupboards etc but now I have a permanent spot for them which involves a TON of hard work and commitment, in fact as soon as I finish this update I will need to log 17 plants from the garden upstairs then upstairs to the attic, arrange them and put the fan on.

Every-time i'm sweating like a pig after, twice a day..but it is to me the only option as its the best i can offer them and they do seem to be liking the newer conditions.

I will definitely start my grow earlier next year with TONS of perlite and basic peaty soil and will have 2 litres of biobizz fish mix on hand for flowering.
They are now all receiving this, I am doing one capfull with two-three pints water for each feed, sometimes a little more of it or sometimes less depending on the plant size and how long ago it was since they got fish mix.

I have to admit that I don't always feel 100% and I am doing a techy job with 10hour night shifts so I pretty much had to with no other source of herb.
I have been using one white rhino runt that is clearly going to be a low yielders & some carefully selected leaves off the odd random other plant.
I know it is not good but I am definitely not going to start trimming bits off many of the other flowering plants, if I run out of current source I may select one tundra which is further along maturity than the others.
Not really sure but will be doing my best to keep the impact limited.

Any questions or pointers are welcome, hope you enjoy the pics!

Tundra Bud's & New Info

Just had taken some nice pics today and I recon theyre good enough to do a small update so quick again:D:

Pics will be below and will be of a 2 select tundra plants.

I had more chance to take pics today as I opted to keep them in the attic throughout the day, the weather was so crap and the time they would have had out already not that much, I decided I would keep them with stable temperatures and good fan always on them in a low humidity area, it may stress them slightly but flowering hormone will be at its highest which is especially important in getting the auto Moscow's to kick it in high gear.

In future grows I will be growing larger plants through starting earlier and having a longer veg period.

All is looking pretty good & are about the height I intended them to not exceed.
I have that small white rhino girl for getting a smoke from and have selected a highly crystallized tundra but with small buds, I can tell it is going to yield less than other plants so is a good choice, I know I will do it as I haven't another source at the moment and the temptation will beat me but do have a plan for limiting the impact to only 2 plants of 17.

Enough rambling and time for so early on budporn, plants are between 10-20 days since first pre-flowers, varies by each plant but all closely followed by each other due to the photo-period treatment :gthumb:

Seen a big change in the plants and gave nute burn to my girls this week.
I noticed it happening gradually and just ignored it until it spreading and got worse.
Many leaves have been trimmed or removed and they have all been flushed. I have started to include very low dosages of nutes again ,I will cease nutrients 2 weeks before harvest.

Weather & Conditions:

Not been good weather at all for the last week, have been 1 or 2 prolonged periods of sun in the week but no real heat or sun intensity.

I also had them in for a full 24 hours due to time available to me & I believe it does help set off the flowering further, it does seem to work & they also get about 40-50% humidity in there with fan on the whole time, much better than what they have had to endure throughout the grow!

Now that's out of the way lets focus on the positives.

1 - Many plants are getting heavy!

Great effort Herb - a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do !
Looks like your gona have a good crop, all that effort will be worth it with some tasty looking buds

Cheers M, I would do all this for half or less than half of the yield it looks like I may get.

I just chopped the small plant I was using to take branches off, It was no longer growing/maturing and I need to ensure i've got some herb up until some others get to reapin time..

I froze the trim off of this plant and will save it for putting with other trim for bubble hash:stylez rasta smoke:

Some new pics today, next couple of hours i'm hoping.

Those girls are looking nice! Man, sounds like you've been through a lot with this grow! Reminds me of the last house, a big-ass farm house, I lived in when I was in Euroland. Because I was so wary, and because I didn't have a dedicated grow space, I was constantly moving plants from my attic (5 floors up) to the basement to outside to the laundry room to the...... Ughh, it sucked, especially with my bad back and knees. I am so happy to have a dedicated, safe, climate-controlled space to grow in now. My body couldn't do it otherwise!

With all that said, I must commend you on your attention and care to your girls. Fantastic job considering all you've had to deal with! I look forward to seeing the final report!

Haha yeah, it's nice someone has noticed so cheers - The commitment I put into these plants is crazy and barely sustainable at times, I do the moving around, lst, watering etc whilst working 10 hour night shifts.
Do you have any pics from your grow before? would be good to see!

just about to do a update, 1 tundra has been harvested yesterday :stylez rasta smoke:

Pictures here, not very in detail for the other plants in general as focus on the chopped tundra, the other strains are all coming along well, even flowering taking off in the strains that were much further behind like the Auto Moscow and White Rhino.

The Tundra I chopped weight 180-200 gram after trimming, assuming the stem is 40-50 gram then if you apply the 75% loss of weight rule that leaves you with 33.75grams I believe but I think it may be less as it is quite leafy..
It's insanely resinous and Chrystally so no doubt of the herbs quality which is all that matters:D:
