... oh yeah--forgot the pH stuff! Those skinny probe units are notoriously inaccurate, so I'd reject any reading they give,... the Accurate 8 works on the same principle, but is much more robust and better built/calibrated,... it's a must-have investment, IMO! The run-off method is crude and done wrong, worse than useless,... plus it requires you to soak the crap outta the soil, sometime that's okay, sometimes not... but in a pinch, if you follow this guide and calculation, it can give a decent reading--(https://www.autoflower.org/threads/...-for-run-off-testing-and-ph-estimation.41733/ ) ---testing straight run-off alone won't give accurate pH measurements, too many corrupting factors altering the pH; neven include nutes in this test, and you'll need RO/Di water (low to no ppm water of some kind) for the final pour through; this is important because you don't want any pH influencing factors in there messing with the true reading of the soil... basically, you're prep'ing the soil to steep and make a "tea" of sorts-- you'll see when you read the guide,... Do what you can, mate, but I have doubts the soil is that high in pH; if it was, you'd very likely have Fe defc. by now, as it locks out rapidly by 7.0...
--roger that on the epsoms, you're good! ... the purple streak on the stem, another hint at general underfeeding, which seems odd, if you've been running full str.; how often do you feed?
-- bulbs decay over time, as you know,..most recommendations I see say to replace MH/HPS after about a year of steady use,... high end HPS bulbs can have enough blue spec' to carry the whole grow,... T5 you can mix bulbs too, but fluoro has lousy penetration intensity,...

Awesome thanks all read that link right after I send this message out to you, I feed once a week I general water 2 liters of water to each girl and there in 5 gallon plastic pots and I wait for them to be light to lift before hitting them again. yeah for the metal halide im going to be buying a new one next run . my temps are 75 lights on 68 at night . with a humidity in the 40percent generally. yeah t5 I just use for veg and usally use straight blue .

OK after playing some Marley burning a little master kush i had from summer outdoor grow ( : i bumped my nutes up 25% on everything added a little bit of the veg nutes like suggested to up nitrogen ( : . balanced ph 6.3 and left for one HOUR with a little bubbler to keep it moving . checked back hour later and ph is still 6.3 so i gave the girls a good watering collecting run off for ph and ppm.
Tap water comes out at 7.5 ph then adjusted it to 6.3 like stated above , Water hit soil at 6.3 and came out the bottom of pot at 6.2 ( : , PPM of run off was 1500 not sure if thats good or bad ??? im guessing that means there was lots of food in run off or salts ?? The PPM was 1100 when it went in . I just gave a good watering till i had about 10% run off . What do you guys think ???? sound good or should i do anything else beside play Marley and hit vapour bags of master kush lol Thanks again AUTO-FLOWER NETWORK YOU GUYS ROCK !

Lets let @Waira read your findings IMO you did the right thing. Id like to know what he says about your PPM..:smoking: Im not sure..

yea i would like to hear @Waira thoughts on the ppm readings . Think it's going to be interesting to see how she looks next few days right now she has some leaves doing the PRAYING they look pretty happy . hoping the lime colour in the bottom fan leafs green up and she starts filling out , she has such a great smell hope i can get her across the finish line ( :

Okay, you did see the linked method for r-o testing, right? you can't use nute's or even pH'ed water, or it skews the pH readings off... that's why the last pour through requires RO/DI water, after the "soak", and collection of r-o,... that said, given the lack of significant pH change between in and out, in this case it looks like it's okay- , believe me, it often won't work out like this!... ppm's seem okay too, if you're only jumping up 400ppm on r-o,... As for the lowers greening up, not likely... as Nammy said, they get tapped into during bloom, and it's normal, even desirable up to a point, from them to get eat up! Let's see waht the upper fans do though,.. at the least, we hope to stave off more early consumption of the fans until later in bloom,... by harvest, if your girl looks haggard in the fans, that's a good sign! It means she's used up her internal reserves, and the soil is pretty tapped too, just what you want for nice clean, smooth smoke Going organics, you won't need much of a cleanse period (nothing but water just before harvest),...

Thanks for dropping knowleadge on me bro ( : i did read the link you sent me i also saved it for future reference had lots of good information though out it. I live far outta town the only place i could have grabbed distilled water was closed , so i figure seems alot of memebers on here think she's hungry. so just thought this time all feed her ph her all that , see how she reacts and go from there . I am looking forward to seeing her in a few hours hoping she gets her eat on lol . Next time i think i have a lock out i am forsure going to follow the directions on that link ( thats now book marked)
