Still wanting to make sure this site is legit as far as security is concerned..Id like to post pics...Do I need to be worried or is there a specific way to go about that? Im obviously being as discreet as possible (thankfully I have you all to connect with)

Just make sure you don't have location information in your photos and don't post anything that will identify yourself & you'll be fine. :smoke:

Alright thanks for all the advice..I got this Pretty sure I am just not even gonna mess with using my phone for pics and just opt to use my camera..I can upload from that ( I think? i gotta look into it) but.. Ill definitely go about "stripping data" from the pics before I post.

I upload directly from my camera, works like a charm. We're going through some site programming changes right now so the uploader is a bit wonky :/ It should be fixed soon.

Hey Joedirt, I am glad to hear that a 4' fan works fine for you, just sharing my experience. Thanks for sharing your experience as well brother.
Do you have to run your 4" on high at all times when your lights are on?

Yes stick. I run it on high all the time. Like I said if you have a vented hood you can dissipate the heat from a HPS bulb.

4'' Fan/filter was a decent price difference when I purchased it compared to 6''. I feel like that'll be fine tho with the space im working with like 3'3'5..plus with the light having a fan cooler, I think ill be totally fine with heat problems.. Its freezing where this is going to be happening so hopefully the light will warm things up!! I just want to get everything set up already.. My patience is really gonna be testing me these next few months. Any ideas on soil/nutrient picks on a budget?!?!? I dont wanna get lowest quality however I REALLY need to watch my spending..

Dang I feel really stupid but I am so confused when it comes to soil/nutrients. I have been reading mad posts on the topic but I cant even understand what some are talking about. All these different words with numbers and this and that.. I have no idea what I need. I don't need anything too fancy, just the essentials of whats going to keep these girls strong. I feel like if I were to go wrong somewhere, this would be where. Any place where this is really broken down so I can understand whats what and what I absolutely need?

Not really sure to the best answer to your question Headyladybudz. What nutrients / subtrates are available to you? When I first started off I was using Plagron soil and using Plagron nutrients and following the Plagron schedule.

In my opinion for a first time grower this is the easiest and best way to go. You don't want to complicate things are add things in which could cus problems. You just want to grow a plant with some buds on it right?

There is also Bio Bizz soil which is very good and Bio Bizz nutrients. Again you just follow the Bio Bizz grow schedule.
