Photography Hey you! Come look at my shitty first grow :D

well goingpostal it all depends. cfl put out heat. so how big a tent? also you can get a ufo led full spectrum for round that price.. less heat and WAY more growth. imo. you have to remember yeah ph is most important role in growing, but temp and humidity play a very important role in getting the most out of your grows. just something to think about. never go straight out and buy equipment without researching on here or asking questions first. I wasted a lot of money on cheap soil ph meters and shit that don't work. and I wish I had back to spend on equipment I now know is usefull.

Haha That headline made me come look at the grow. But hey, the buds are looking good!!!

Faded is right about the heat. I was surprised at just how stuffy things got in my tent when I fired up those lights. I found that this fan here works great for controlling Temps in my 3 x 3 x 5' tent.

Adding a fan controller as well will really help dial things in. I have no led experience myself, but I'm hoping my current grows will help save some cash for an upgrade into that world.

dude thats really helpful! I've never read that anywhere! Some of the fan leaves are starting to turn a yellow collor so I guess I have ~ 2 weeks till they start falling off....I gave her the last of her bloom nutes and going to start my final flush today

i think the yellow leaves might not be in the case Muddy mention (the end of the plant), as the buds are still small, they might be just lack of nitrogen? just my guess, i see some plants while flowering will have some yellow leaves due to the grower switched to bloom nutes, better wait till you see they really go yellow and crispy dry and die off before you flush if you want maximum yield.

What are the temps with the inline fan....Yes def going to get an inline fan for the next grow too....how loud are those fans? I'm guessing the controller makes it quieter?

Oh crap...I think I def have some kind of deficiency showing on some leaves :(

Here are some pics I just took...buds a little bigger then in last pics...now look at the last 2...Some kind of nutrient deficiency? I was flushing for a week and a half till some people on here said Im still a while from harvest so I went back to my half strength dosage of fox farm big bloom and tiger bloom first feeding was 3 days ago doesn't look like leaves changed at all. Also the leave tips curling up is cause of heat? the top colas are all about .5 inch away from the bulbs and they all have stopped growing up about a month ago so I stopped tying stuff down

hi GP, see if this help you to find out which deficiency your plant is getting.

leaft deficiency chart

imo, first check your ph, if its not in the "safe" zone that might cause deficiency no matter what nutes how much you give your plant. and i think your plant needs some nitrogen as the leaves are generally look yellowish to me, the rusty color might be cal/mag, better wait for the expert to answer, you might also wanna consider post your problem in the live help section, but dont worry too much i think its not very serious.

Those are frosting up nicely! Just a few more weeks man IMO. You gonna be styling like a mofo!
