Glad you finally took the leap, not just joining, but saying Hi to your kin! :tiphat:
As you must know by now, we are a Family who share a singular passion for growing. And life. And health. And yacking. So much for singular.
A passion for growing doesn't mean you need to have anything growing, just the desire.
While you're waiting, realize you've already got a leg up on your first grow... study time!
If you're able to "simulate" your proposed garden ( indoor/outdoor? soil/hydro? lighting choice), maybe start a test run with tomatoes, or even basic herbs like thyme, basil, cilantro.
In the mean time, enjoy the reading, and just being able to BS with like-minded people.
