Outdoor Hillbilly Rig-A New Adventure

Should I be able to see them? I’ve looked pretty close and can’t spot anything. That’s just with the naked eye. Need a new scope
They're tiny. It's actually the nymphs that are doing the damage and you're gonna need a scope or loupe to see them. But I think they take a week to mature into adults so you might be seeing them soon

Stone Dragon left, Bloodstone center, Honey Glaze early photo right. This week they rode out a crazy storm with really high winds that snuck up on me before I could move them to shelter.

Spinosad seems to have done the trick and stopped whatever buggers were moving in.

Heat has been oppressive, 95ish with high humidity every day this week. Moving them back and forth between sun and shade every couple of hours. Started putting a cordless fan on them. Honey Glaze gets the fan in the crawl space during its 12 hour sleep. The other 2 spend the night on the deck with a fan on them. One of the Stone Dragons had a bit of bud rot, had to cut a couple of inches off the top of the main cola 😢 seems to be contained 🤞🏼
Looks like we have another full week of this heat/humidity, hope I can nurse them through!

Time for another smoke and a 5th cup of coffee ☕:pass:

The one that had bud rot is on the left, it’s the one that has dark stems.

Harvested the Honey Glaze early photo this morning. Let it amber a fair amount as this one leaned a bit toward sativa the first time I grew it (that was the plant that the seed for this came from.)
Cut the branches off and rinsed them in cold water with lemon and baking soda then in clean cold water. I almost skipped this only because I’m lazy but talked myself into it since it’s been a long spring and summer outside exposed to all the grossness that comes with it.
I let them drip dry for a while then hung them in brown paper bags in my crawl space. I’m worried about the drying process harvesting during the heart of the summer. Temp is currently 75 degrees and humidity is 74%. Less than optimal…I’m afraid it will either dry to fast because of the heat or mold because of the high humidity. It would be a shame to screw it up now after all of the I spent nurturing it after finding it growing in the rocks of my landscaping early this spring. :pass:

This is all that’s left of the smaller Stone Dragon 😢 couldn’t control the bud rot. I was a bit aggressive on how much I cut/tossed out. These buds appear to be clean, am I cool keeping them? Washed them aggressively in water with baking soda and lemon juice.
