Indoor Hours of light for AutoMazar® & Think Different®

Hi,

I'm new to both this forum and to AutoFlowering cannabis, although I have grown indoors a couple times.

I've got 2 questions which are bugging me & would love to have my mind put at ease by a bit of expert advice from the good folk at AFN.

First. Hours of light. I'm assuming that autoflowering plants don't care much how much light you give them, but the more light & food etc they have, the bigger they'll grow? So how much light should you give them? Is a 20/4 cycle about right?

Secondly. Pollen cleanliness
Before my very kind friend gave me some good, feminized autoflower seeds to try I had some really crap, non-fem plants growing in there a month or so back. Just to see what woud happen I suppose, and what happened was predictable. They grew badly and seeded. But not before scattering a bit of pollen about in my tent.
Question is.... now that they are gone and my tent only has femmed plants in, should I scour the thing to get rid of any trace of pollen?

Hey there gca. Welcome to the AFN, mate. Most popular light schedule that I see is 20/4. Sometimes 18/6 or even 24/0. I use 20/4.

I would completely clean that tent out. Vacuum very well and wipe down with a simple bleach water solution and let it dry and air out. It's probably no longer viable, but just to be sure, I would clean it.

i have a friend using 25 for light is that too much do they need a bit of darkness becasuse my friend said 24 for light is the best let me no what u guys think

hi mate iv experimented with 20/4 also 18/6 and 16/8 and the best is 18/6. And that was autos. As for the tent id put a littel bleach and water and clean it out. Let it dry and do it all over again. What autos u doing mate...
