Lighting How many plants? 3x3 tent & Mars II 700

Hi everyone, I'm brand new to the autoflowering indoor grow, I need a hobby during our long, cold winters.
I'm sure it has been discussed to death, but as I'm setting up my first time grow I wanted community guidance on how many to go with in my 3x3x5 tall. I'm going soil in 3 gallon air pots with General Organics feed, 4 inch inline fan and carbon filter and the Mars II 700. I have @Sweet Seeds cream caramel and jack 47 seeds. Was thinking of going 2 cc then at about 40 days start germinating 2 of the J47.

I would appreciate your feedback as it is my first time.

My schwerve for led lights is two plants per light max. You might want to consider adding a second light as you add plants, so you can get a better more uniform light spread.

So it's 90x90x160? 3 gallons (11l pots) are fine, although 4 gallons (15l) are ideal (and anything after this is kinda pointless). I do 4 plants in my 60x60x160 and the spread on my 300W LED is fine, but you have to defoliate and use nets effectively to increase penetration.

I bought square pots to squeeze as many as possible into the tent but I'll be going with just one plant, with good training you can achieve the same results with fewer plants (which means less problems with maintenance, watering etc.) I'd recommend @autobeast threads on topping, just go through his profile in his recent posts. Topping after the 14th day on the 4th node will give you more main branches so you'll get more out of your plant.

You can get plenty of branches with simple low stress training which also keeps your plants shorter and more even. This allows your light to be lower and that alone can help trumendously considering your light choice.

The Mars II 700 has a 2x2 footprint in flower. That is one good plant, any more than one and you reduce yield for each plant.

I personally would stick to one plant unless you plan to add another light later on.

I grow under LEDs that draw the same as your Mars, and have at least a 3x3 footprint and I still like one plant a light in flower.
