Hubbabubbahaze - 10 gal organic/outside

HB Haze into 10 gal. smart pot. Outdoor (mostly) grow. I am using the following soil mix (amounts are approx):

- 5 gal. organic potting mix (compost, screened pine bark, lava sand, cc, ewc, exp. shale, perlite)
- 1.5 gal. organic compost
- .75 cups Espoma Garden Lime
- 1 cups organic fertilizer 7-5-7 (meat and bone meal, feather meal, sulfate of potash, poultry manure)
- .2 cup Azomite
- 5 cups (approx. 2 lbs.) EWC
- 1 cup bat guano
- .3 gallon expanded shale
- light dusting of GW

Soil cooked for 3 weeks. I mixed the above with approx. 3 gals rinsed Perlite (so approx. 1/3 perlite, 2/3 soil). I also "carved out" an approx. 20 oz. volume in the middle of the pot and filled with Roots Organic to use as the seedling mix. I topped dressed at inception with 7-5-7 organic fert.

Germinated (1) HBH seed in filtered water and a very small amount of Cyto-plus (seaweed/humate), popped in 24 hours and straight into root riot cube presoaked in 6.5 dechol water. Cube is already in final pot.

I plan to germinate and do the 1st 2-3 weeks veg under LED's (Philzon PL1000) in the garage unless I get a stretch of sunny weather.

Well, that was quick.

And . . . she stopped. Very weird - like she just froze in time. She has been like this for 72 hours. It may have damped off although I am careful about over-watering seedlings.


In any event dropped a second bean of HBH (in the back). Will report when she pops.


Having an unusual time germinating Mephisto seeds lately.
