Grow Mediums Hydro-newb help

That set-up will grow monsters....
(don't know anything about res. temps.)

I think you wanna aim for 60-65F, that's what a buddy of mine maintains, colder the better he says, apparently helps oxygen but you'll need a chiller for that below 60

I'd get some more input tho I'm just speaking from what I heard, haven't used hydro before, look forward to seeing your grow in the future man!

Well since you guys have smashed every doubt or concern I've had, I'm just gonna ask you guys. I know not to give nutes the first 3 weeks or so, but when you start, where do you start and how much do you give them at first? When and why do you raise it, and how do you figure out how much and when to raise it? and what are base nutes, and are they what I base the rest of my nutes for them on?

With hydro, you need to feed from the beginning, not wait 3 weeks. Water by itself doesn't contain enough nutrients to support growth and in short order you will start to see deficiencies. Depending on what nutrients you end up using you'll probably want to start out very weak, about 1/8 the recommended strength, slowly increasing to 1/4, then 1/2 by the time they are about 4-5 weeks old.

will it give me the recommended amount for all 4 sites? or just how much per plant

anyone ever use these? I found them on ebay. If i cut the room down a little bit more, I could get away with 2 of them.

I would ask TaNg about these in the Live led help thread!!!

will it give me the recommended amount for all 4 sites? or just how much per plant

per gallon/litre of water.

There is so much info on here about leds that you cannot go wrong. If you can afford enough leds to fill a 4x8 grow room go for it and don'y look back. I know I will never entertain the thought of hps ever again after seeing what SEYMOUR BUDS can do with a 1 watt per led grow light that sold me on them period. less is more when it comes to nutrients and seedling or cuttings.

I wish I could afford enough to cover the whole area in LED's but I cant swing that right now, sucks but o well. Is there a particular brand of nutes I should look for to start? and do I need a base nute before I can ad stuff like bigbud or budcandy or stuff like that
