Id like to get this thread back up as the Elvis has a new pole! its that time of year post your nature pics water pics sunsets and wild animals!

here i am back at my "spot" fishing for the large mouth bass!

i went out to a older spot started side bank fishing with a top lour frog.. i had the bass hitting the frog 6 feet off the bank from the weeds.

here are some reds from the Gulf about 41 miles out around the oil rigs..
this was a few weeks ago I had a 40 lb red on my line pullin for over 20 minutes and got him 5 feet from the top and a bull came straight up from the bottom took 1/2 my fish ! he even took it out of the water unreal fishing day ill never forget!!

Fishing , I love fishing . I have been fishing for over 45 years , I was a pro fisherman for a number on years , and as a amateur fisherman I release 95 % of my catch , The photos are of my tackle box .

We are fortunate to live in one of the best areas in north America for fishing. This year hasn't been too great for big fish as I haven't been out as much as I like but these are highlights from this year so far:
Opening trout - caught 3 beautiful rainbows biggest was 30"
Opening northern Pike - crazy weather but my buddy and I hammered them. We counted 3 dozen that day catch and release. Biggest was around 8lbs.
Bass Opener - didn't get to go! Gah first time in decades!

We are lucky to have world class fishing for Largemouth + SMallmouth bass, Walleye (15pounders are caught locally just not by me), Northern Pike (my biggest was 22lbs), Salmon, Trout(specks, rainbows and browns).

A buddy and myself went out and camped/fished last weekend. It was awesome! He got the biggest smallmouth bass at 20"(50+ bass caught over the weekend), biggest pike was 40"(2 dozen pike caught over the weekend), 6 walleye 20"-25". Great times!!
